If you would get a chance to get one million dollars (or euros) for backstabbing your closest friend (literally), then would you do it? I am asking this because I often see topics like: "Would you turn your back on your close ones?" and such, but I want to know if you could physically hurt your friends and other persons that are close to you.
This also shows how much your closed ones mean to you, when compared to the huge amount of money

I think it depend on the situation and circumstances i am in. Everything in life is governed by priorities and if at that particular time i need money more dan my best friend then i will backstab my friend for such good amount of money. I am sure my friend would understand that my needs and siuation and forgive me after some time.

I am very sorry that you think like that. Your friend could even die, if you really backstab him with a knife or something else...
I am not so sure that he would understand and forgive you, if you try to murder him...

Seriously, I won't. Firstly, the money is not mine. Snatching it from others is definitely wrong. Secondly, killing for money is a crime. Thirdly, I believe in retribution. No amount of money will make me do things which are against my conscience.

haha only a wow player could ask such question :) Backstab is lol lvl for rogues thou :))
Well this sort of scenarios do not exist and will never exist in real life... Let s say it would... The question sounds different to rich persons, modest ones and poor ones.
In this society asking this question is nonsense since the answer has little to do with how that person is inside.
The majority of rich ppl will answer no. Ofc maybe some greedy ones would do it but try and immagine the ones that said no in the position of beeing really poor see if their answer would change... Most poor ppl would answer yes cause they would sacrifice a dear one for alot of cash (sometimes even knowing that that means helping another dear person besides himself) but the results would be so different if those ppl actually had alot of money or at least the suficient amount to have a decent lifestyle. And so on. So ask this quetion in a non existant world where money do not have the power to actually change the meaning of words :) but anyway nice topic :)

I'm happy that you think like that
Some don't have a conscience and may kill for money if really needing it...

oh and Ram you can think this now but try and immagine an ugly scenario where you see your lover/wife starve or sick of something that requires cash, or your parents or someone dear then ask yoursef would you actually kill a good friend for the cash that would allow you to help your other dear ones ? it s not about not having a conscience it s about making tough choises :)

But I meant that backstabbing literally with a knife or something else... Your friend could get hurt pretty badly and maybe never ever recover...
And what do you mean by "winning" when you backstab someone? It is not an accomplishment, but a crime...

One million dollars is a big money, without money in this world especially in China you are thought to be a loser or good for nothing,so I will do whatever I can do to earn money, there is no honest in front of the big money,I think people who say no I will never do that are just lying,if the real oppotunity lies in front of you,you will have a second thought.I am sure of that, because people are very similar in this world.they will sell out friends in front of big templation

I will have to say that I don't agree... Some people may think like you, but not all are the same. Most here on this discussion have good hearts and souls, and their friends are more important for them than what money is
I am sorry that people think like that in China, but I am sure that there are also some good hearted there too

Money had power to buy almost anything available in this world. Without money you may be considered as a loser and good for nothing by the world. But there is something which we had to remember - true friendship cannot be bought using money. You can make friends if you had money stuffed all time in your pocket, but remember they are not your friends, they all are friends of money and they will vanish as cash vanish from your pockets. So friendship cannot be compromised in name of some bucks.
These paper printed value of money decreases on time, but a stable friendship is ever worthy. Money can bring danger to you but a friend will not and he/she will be always there to help you from dangers. I will NEVER ever backstab any of my friends for money.

if i say that he is my friend. i could not backstab him. as still i am saying he is my friend so how can i do.
if he is not my friend. but not my enemy too. and just a person. so i cant stab again due to this money. because being a human.
so in short i cant muster courage to be inhuman.

No I can't backstab a best friend for just $ 1M. It frightens me to physically hurt somebody. Doing something bad to a friend is cruel. There's no point hurting a person just for money.

Good for you my friend
It's good to know that most people aren't that much after money
Take care of yourself
