Does anyone know why the televisions are in rectangle shapes?

lol =D Why are every of your discussions in this format?? Just one line?? It's kinda boring, and i guess they are not really allowed in mylot..
Just a warning, all those one line post, like this, might be deleted if u keep doing this in the long run..
BAck to your question, i guess tvs are made in such shape, because it's the widest of all.. COmparing all those funny funny shapes of triangle and circle, their surface area might be bigger, but they are not equal at the sides.. It somehow comforms the images and it wont be good for our eyes.. haha =D

Some TVs were circular in the 60's, and maybe before, as a circular tube was easier to make than a rectangular one. But the image displayed on these TVs was rectangular, so there is a waste of space in a circular TV display : if they are rectangular, it's because it's more practical.

Because its better to see. Imagine how strange if it was in shape of a triangle? o_O
