How can I make money with domain flipping?

Hey guys, I want to go into domain flipping as I heard that its very lucrative. But everywhere I go to learn it, they always ask me to buy a report, ebook or some package. I'm sick and tired of looking. I just want to know the basics and how it works. What to look for in domains and how to market them. If anyone knows anything about this, please give me some basics or free guide/tutorial (I don't want to buy anything for now). And also, If anyone knows where I can buy a domain for as low as $7, please direct me so I can start from there. Thanks a lot in advance.

Why buy a domany for as low as $7 by the time you could host your own server? :)

buy domain with godaddy. host it using blogger. try to build backlinks and increase PR and sell it at flippa.com.

uhm short domain names, domain names with keywords .com preferably domain marketing, you just need to buy domains that can be branded. if the domain link is spread online already, even better!
