I feel this new twist in the WWE is a welcome change and Jack Swagger will be a great champ if things are done right. What do you feel?

OF all the persons to win the Money in the bank I least expected it to be swagger. Swagger is definitely not championship material at least not for now.He needs to get a total championship makeover and prove himself to keep him worth of the title.Lets see what will happen as no one can predict how far swagger will stand and last as a champ.I definitely am for change but swagger is not in my list and not my favorite to be on the top.

Well first of all, let me just say that I am all for new people being on top. The same old guys will not be around forever. Therefore, there needs to be new blood pumped into the main event scene. The sooner, the better, so we can move forward and we can see progress within the company. So someone like Jack Swagger winning the belt is a good idea in theory, but here is the problem as I see it.
Jack Swagger winning Money in the Bank really came out of left field for me. In fact, I think I ranked him the lowest possible winner out of the eight. The guy was struggling to be Santino in throwaway matches on Superstars not that long ago. Therefore, I never saw him as World Heavyweight Champion material. Now a year ago when he came over from ECW to RAW? Yeah, I did see something in him but he had been lost in the shuffle and was down the card quite a bit ever since his last year on RAW.
That being said, perhaps he can be rebuilt now but to do so while giving him the belt is a calculated risk. I think Swagger will be a good enough champion for the short time at least but whether he can be a long term champion, we just have to wait and see. Only time will tell. I just have this strange feeling that he's keeping that belt warm for Edge and therefore he might not be champion for too long. However, while this title win came almost out of nowhere, going from afterthought(and an underused superstar at that) to winning Money in the Bank to champion...yeah, that's interesting. Still, I'm willing to wait and see. There have been stranger champions than Jack Swagger in this wacky world of wrestling.
