Who wants to wear contacts?

I actually wanted one, begged my ophthalmologist for it but he said 'No'. It was not because he can't make one, it was because of the studies showing the complications of contract lenses as to regular glasses. Bacteria and virus is too high and exposing a very sensitive organ in our body (the eyes) is truly very risky. He says he had seen far too many people losing an eye because of those lenses and if I'm in it for the fad thing, then he would not risk it to me and I should look for another doctor who'd gladly accept my money. There even came a point when he handed me several studies showing such occurrences and now I'm a believer. I think they're not really good for you long term and one false move could risk your eye permanently.
