Mylot is getting members rapidly! It hasn't been long since the 200,000 members milestone and we have gained 2,000 members! What are your thoughts on the mylot population?

hi googierm4ge from so many rule breaking discussions from a ton of new users it maybe that for all the numbers we still have a lot of inactive members as those who get their discussions deleted over and over and do not care to learn how not to have that happen are going to get pissed and just quit. so it is not as busy as it looks really. my thoughts are that anyone coming in here should care enough to really read all the information and use it wisely,as that is what makes mylot really work.

I know Mylot has been around for a couple years now, and it has been slowing getting the word out that it is here... I just noticed today that we are over 200,000 which I think is awesome for Mylot and I love to see the numbers grow. I dont think that many people are active with Mylot, I know I have months where I am very active here and then I will have a slow couple months as well... but I love that fact that Mylot is always here and I can always count on it being here when I need it!!!! Happy Mylotting!!

When I joined Mylot the population was around 50,000, though it is increased by four times, I feel it is very very less. We should popularise Mylot so that it reaches at least one crore by this year end.

Actually, I thought the population was growing pretty slowly. Some sites, especially the really popular ones, the number will increase every time you refresh the page when on mylot it basically stays the same for several weeks on end. Any growth is good, but what really matters are active users. A site can have millions of members, but if none of them post then they're all worthless to the site. Mylot has some pretty loyal active users, but I don't think it's growing all that fast.
