hi owner, You can earn here not only through participating here but you can also upload photos, add your blogs and do some task. You can also get a reward in using the search button. Those are the stuffs I learned lately here in mylot because I also want to gain an increase in my earnings here. In participating on any discussion, your content must be of a good quality. It should be descriptive. If you think, your reader can get more of what you are trying to say by giving an example, then just give example. It should be informative as well. It will not only help you but other mylotters as well.

I'm not sure what you mean by participating vs. communicating, but I can tell you there are actually several activities that count toward participation earnings. Contributing to discussions - i.e. starting, responding, and commenting - all counts. Uploading images to interest categories and discussions also counts.
