It has become a habit for me to study for about 4 hours and give the sessional/minor exams that constitute 10 percent of the total grade. If you have this type of exams how do you prepare?

I always cram for an exam on the previous day. It is a very bad habit of mine. People would not have to cram if they actually spread out their studying time throughout the semester/quarter. It is because many people are lazy, which is why they put it off to the very last minute. Those people who procrastinate are lazy. I, for one am unfortunately one of those lazy people. I hope one day I will be proactive and change soon.

Back In High School I would study a little , and then the day before I'd study a little, even on the day of the exam I would only study a little. I didn't really like to study. I loved the open book exams as you could pretty much get 100 percent on them if you knew where to look in the book.

i dont have the habit to study but before the exam i will focus studying in one subject specially the major subject if my brain is tired already then i will just scan my notes in my minor subject to refresh the things that we did. but if u go to class everyday with no absent you can answer your exam. and just believe in your self the you have the knowledge that others don't have =).

To be true this has no solution because each semester is of very small duration compared to the syllabus. So try studying slowly slowly in the last 15 dayz of exams and enjoy the rest days but in these days grasp new concepts.
