I have a friend who is currently depressed because she just broke-up with her boyfriend and she's still not over it yet, I tried to cheer her up like going out to the park, foodtrip having fun but eventually she still ends up depressed.....just looking for suggestions on how to make her forget..

have you talk, like heart to heart. relationship is about feelings, you have at least try to feel how she feels, put yourself in her position. first think to cheer up someone who is sad is to let one's sadness go away first. put her in a neutral feeling, then.. deliver your jokes. hope it works, how is he now ?

You can't do too much, as some people said, cheer her up. But this is easier said than done, as do you know. It's best to keep her company for some time, so she doesn't bother about it too much, as the pain is fading away, your bond with her will become stronger. And if you are in need of such friend, she'll be there ;) Have a nice day =)

hi, I understand the current situation of your friend. For me, all you can do to make her happy or to cheer her up is to make more things that will make her forget her ex boyfriend. Further, you may help her through making her realize that despite of her failure in love there might be another guy who would be better than her ex boyfriend. She should not be also pull herself down of what happened. She have to move on. And although he was gone, life goes on. As a friend, I believe that you can do a lot of things to make your friend move on and be happy.
