Short of a Holiday

Perhaps Easter would last longer to me if I were Catholic. I'm not. But i'm not too concerned about that. I dont really enjoy the holidays. Stupid people like to come out and be stupid. I wish i could enjoy the short holiday time we get, make it better. Spring Break needs to be longer... for the rest of the spring, a break. Vacation with pay FTW.

hey,,, will, i do feel the same exact thing... the semester break just started 2 days back, and i haven't gone outside the house at all thought i'll be going out, enjoying the time..but it seems to be quite hard though..my siblings are having exams and my parents are busy.but when i'm about to start the semester; they will be about to start the break!! it is a very big clash indeed... besides, the time flies sooooo fast that i can't finish doing one thing that i enjoy :-O my gosh that is too bad... i can't believe that today is my third day in the break!!! awh i wish if the days go slowly so, i can enjoy the time :(

I think a lot of people would agree with you here. Right now I am not working so every day is a holiday to me! I also guess it depends on the type of work, some people don't get a holiday from work and have to work on the Holiday. My husband is working and it's Easter. I've only worked at one job where I didn't have to work on the holidays but I chose to anyway. I think there's been one other job that I didn't necessarily have to work but I quit before any major holiday.

Yeah right we have to sigh when holidays are over. I had a week of the holidays and still wish there were more days. But we can't do anything about it but to go back to work and look forward to another holiday short or long. The most important thing is that we had enjoyment and meaningful holidays and memories are kept and stored to reminisce and share to whoever.
