I am not sure that I could trust those kinds of sites. Not saying that they are not admirable, but that maybe they wouldn't be able to find the person I am looking for. Well I'm not looking for anyone but if I was there's a possibility they wouldn't be able to find them, I'd want to know that I could get my money back if they didn't find them, or found the wrong one.

I won't join those websites, or doing something like that. I think when you want to see your old friends, it was always depend on destiny, or something like that. Maybe one day you meet your old friends again at the side walk, and you can really catch up with them.

I don't go out of my way to keep in touch with people I knew from a long time ago. It's not that I'm rude or mean, I just don't have the time! For that, I feel really bad because I would love to catch up. However, one particular evening, my husband and I were out grocery shopping on a Tuesday night. We never normally get groceries on a weeknight unless it's a couple things here and there to make dinner. This night we were out, I saw a friend and classmate of mine from a long time ago! She recognized me first, but it's probably been at least five to seven years since we've seen each other. It was crazy! It was so neat seeing her again. We also have a special bond because we were both born on the exact same day (same year and everything)! So we call each other "Birthday Buddy." I was so excited to see her again. I had no idea she only lived and worked a couple miles away. It was the neatest thing to happen to me in a while. She's also married and has a couple kids, so it's really neat seeing people after not seeing them for a while and catching up. If I had more time, I'd love to keep in touch with all these special people I've come across in my life. It's relationships that are so important.

Hi, jugsjugs. Yes, I do look for old friends. There is a friend of mines that I used to work with that I am searching for. I do hope that I can find out where she is at. I miss her we had so much of fun together.

It's good to catch up with old friends. It's fun remembering those people who have been part of your life. I wont go to those sites just to find my old friends instead I would go to sites like facebook and stuff and if I cannot find them there, maybe it's not the time for us to meet again

i have done this on facebook. I was able to see pictures on me and my classmates taken more than 20 twenty years ago. And it seems it was only yesterday except the matured looks, most of the women gained weights and some of the guys going bald or had gained weight themselves. but it was a good way to remember the good old days.

I've noticed the same things about my friends. I graduated high school in 1971. Some have gained weight and some are going bald or already bald. Some have gotten white headed even. It's just a sign we're getting older, lol. Kathy.

I have a profile on facebook. I have been reunited with some of my old schoolmates some of them which I have not seen for about twenty five years. You do realise that times flies by really fast. I cannot imagine how twenty five years have passed. It's a good idea to catch up with old friends.

I've tried a few other sites, but nothing it seems is as prevalent as facebook and myspace, with people migrating from the latter to the former... I've been hunting for people from high school, college, my last job, my current job, and I've been thinking about hunting down junior high school friends, too.

hie jugsjugs, i am not into all these. i just keep in touch with high school, college and uni friends. i also keep in touch with office mates. along the way, through the passage of time, i lost some of my friends as some left for greater pastures or just loss touch. then we get in touch again through some one else throuigh coincidence. such places i met old friends again were in train stations, holidaying overseas or at restaurants and once even in the wash rooms. some friends of mind found lost teachers and seniors through yahoo and facebook.

I belong to Facebook, but I don't go on it very often. I don't look for anyone, and I don't think I would. If there was anyone I had gotten close to, I would probably still be in touch with them. Anyone else I don't really care about. I guess I am not a "people person".

Nopers, if anybody is valuable enough to me to look up, I already kept track of them. I do not dig back into the past to rekindle anything. That is just not my style. A childhood friend did pay money once to track me down through classmates.com though.

hi jugsjugs I did until I found out that in order to really use this particular site I had to pay x amount of money and that really irritated'me as I wanted to contact some old high school friends but could not open it til I coughed up some money which I really cannot spare. so back to emailing old friends.

Hi jugs! I look for old friends and family members all the time on facebook. I haven't tried friends reunited yet. I may try it, though, because I sometimes can't find who I'm looking for on facebook. As far as work friends, I haven't tried to look for them. Not that I don't want to look for them. I just try to find friends in general, in other words. Kathy.

I did this with my classmates. A few years ago I had a get together of 14 classmates which reunion took place years after we left school. And once again I succeeded in getting together another 14. We were 33 in all and in this exercise of getting them together I realised 5 were no more and my thoughts went flooding back about these dearly departed souls. I wrote 4 line verses on all those who were present at the get togethers depending on what I had remembered about their idiosyncrasies while they were in school. I found that they had not changed much except that some had achieved great heights.

I don't depend on the websites to connect long lost friends and though it can help somehow making it easy for you to reconnect with them. But I believe that when it is meant for you to reunite with them then there is always a time and a way that you will see each other again, it maybe by coincidence or planned, there is always the right time and place.
