Yes, I do stay online during thunderstorms. I have a laptop and wi-fi internet connection, so I just unplug the power from the laptop and keep working.

I don't know...the warnings about not being online during a Tstorm are as lame as not being on the phone during a storm.
The odds of getting shocked are like 1 billion to one; as long as you are indoors.
Most houses are grounded against electrical shocks.

I am terrified of thunderstorms, so no I don't stay online. I won't talk on the phone or use the bathroom either. I'm a big chicken.

I do! I think it's because first off thunder storms don't really scare me. I grew up in Houston and it rains thundering rain quite a bit. Plus my computer is a laptop and has a power surge protector. Plus I have wireless internet should I need to completely not have wires. But yes alot of people tell me I really shouldn't do that maybe one day I'll listen... I can be quite hard headed!
