Last night when i am on my way home. I am walking alone on the street side. I sing alone with my favorite song " We are the world" he he he . I am so hungry because i forgot to eat my dinner and my afternoon snacks. I decided to go to a store wherein i can buy some snacks, breads or junk foods just to satisfy my stomach. I went to my favorite bakery near the house of my friend hazel. It was about 10:00 in the evening when i went there i saw a beggar child crying, finding her missing parents, begging for food and drinks. At first, i ignore the child but as the time goes by while i am buying, my conscience start battling with me. The inner me forces me to give the food i buy to the beggar. I started to have a double mind. I don't know what to do. Every time i took a glimpse of the beggar my inner side is crying begging to give the food to her. While thinking, i remember the preaching of the our pastor last sunday about helping others. I remember that if i help other people God will supply all my needs and all my requests. God will reward me for my merciful heart. After a minute of thinking, I gave my food to her and i gave my little hello kitty key chain to her. She smiled at me and my heart was very touch :)

thanks for the encouragement louierrific24!! I will continue to help others specially those who are in need even if not financially but i will try my best to help them in small ways :D

Hi, teito_klein.
Congratulations that you have helped a beggar. That's really great and you are such a helpful person. Nowadays, there are not many people like you.
And i am the same like you, i prefer giving them the food than money. But there are some beggars want the money instead of food. I did met a beggar like this before, i gave him my fruits that i just bought, then he took them but he grumbled that i am stingy not giving him money. 
By the way, i think helping people without thinking of rewards is better.

Congratulations to you. Sometimes we are burden by our conscience for failing to do things that are within our capability. It's good you've done it. It's really more gratifying to receive a simple heartfelt smile from a less fortunate human being after you have give them concern.
Many rich people are saying they will pray for you when you present to him your problem but not obliging himself to bring-out even a little amount from his pocket, it's very un-Christian, I have read it on the bible that you should give if you can and not say that you will just pray.
