Hi guys! May I ask you to share your Top 5 tips and tricks to stay productive throughout your day? :) Here are mine: 1) Organize email, AKA dump everything that's nonessential into a folder/label named DUMP, and the rest into their respective labels. AKA Client A, Client B and so on and so forth. 2) Use a task management program. I prefer an online service named TaskFive [http://www.taskfive.com], because you get to see your tasks throughout the week, and check them off as you're done with them. For desktop-based stuff, I like CheckOff for Mac. It would be great to pre-schedule your tasks so that you can stay focused in a better way. 3) Use good ol' paper. Some things are just easier to jot down on paper, honestly. 4) Block certain websites from your browser. If the office firewall can get you to remain productive, I'm sure the same concept will work if you do it from home. Ban social networking and chatting for yourself and you'll get more work done. Easier said than done, however. 5) Multitask. Some things need waiting, like downloads, or you can space out for some tasks. So when you have the opportunity to multi-task, do so. :) And sometimes, maybe MyLot is better off blocked, at least in my case. I'm enjoying myself so much here, I've been procrastinating on writing the book I have in my hands. Hehehe.
