I think it's not good if someone saw what you are doing because they may call authority or police that you steal fruits of your neighbor. That's bad on the sight of the kids because they can pattern your values. It's not good values to teach on children to steal not your own property. There is no harm on asking or buying the fruits.

I don't want to scare you but, KLEPTOMANIA is a mental disease in which a person suffering from kleptomania has a tendency to steal things pens, paper clips, in your case fruits. this disorder is usually seen in adolescence stage of a person and sometimes may last throughout his life. person suffering from kleptomania does not see any motive in his thefts, he just steals objects which have sometimes no great value at all like clips. this might be difficult to handle but can be conquered if you try, just believe in your self and try not to think about fruits, i think you are doing a good job in overcoming it as you resist your feeling, so just keep up the good work.

yes, that might be one way to get rid of that feeling. just try to steal a fruit from your neighbor's tree and check weather you feel like doing it again, even then if the feeling persists then we can think of another alternative. but we just cannot say we have this cure when we deal with mental disorders, we just have to keep trying to overcome it.

I think it has something to do with the freshness of fruit that has just been plucked from the tree. Somehow the taste and the smell are so much sweeter and more appealing. I guess you aren´t the only one to have this urge to take a piece of fruit from trees that you pass. In English there is even a special word for it, scrumping. Glad to hear you don´t give in to your urge to steal fruit, but I can certainly understand the feeling. Perhaps you should plant loads of fruit trees yourself, then you could pop outside and take a piece whenever you fancied.

I don´t think you´ll do much harm stealing ONE fruit from someone´s tree. I had not thought about actually stealing, but I do like to eat fruit directly from the tree. It does not taste the same as the rruit we buy as it´s completly ripe. I have an apricot tree in my yard and they are the best apricots I´ve ever eaten. I clean them by rubbing them on my butt and eat them near the tree.

Aha, same feeling. Each time I see the fruit on the tree.I always imaginge that if I could steal it.But I never do this so far cause I am so timid.I bet it must be good feeling if I do this. What's more ,I like climb trees very much,so if I do these two things at the same time ,it must be cool.I will do it one day certainly.

Thats a bad idea to start with. If you really want some then why dont you just ask for it? like go and ask your neighbor to give you some. Tell them that your tempted to taste their fruits and then if they are good enough im sure they will give you some. Stealing is not done by civilized people. Ask and you will be given. Why dont you try and im sure its going to be pretty much easy too

I know how that is. There use to be these people growing a crab apple tree in their yard and one day after months of wondering what they tasted like I snatched one and well that is something I never want to taste again. I'm sure the owners were watching me in secret and laughing at my expressions. It might be best to buy some seeds and maybe ask one of those people some advice on growing and taking care of your own fruit tree.

haha the urge to steal fruits. its a common thing. its a tendency to take what is not yours. i have 2 fruit trees in my compound. one rambutan tree on one end of my house and a mango tree on the other. they provide good shade. they are heavy laden with leaves and fruits and the branches grow and spread to the edge and across the fence. my house faces a road in front and school buses and lorries pass my house. i have seen these people stop their vehicles, stand up and pull my near ripe rambutans and mangoes to eat. school boys and girls stretch their hands out of bus windows to pull the fruits when their school buses stopped in the que to move forward. the fruits are irresistible. perhaps its the thrill and also the lust of the eyes on seeing fruits on the trees and are within easy reach too. anyway, i forgive them there and then as the heavy branches are hanging outside my fences and the fruits are a delight and are delicious on a hot humid day. but its better not to take without permission or steal as it may become a bad habit and its difficult to break that habit. many realise its no good to take what is not yours but being human, you just want to do it. once realisation hits you, you will not do it again. right.

I used to steal Green Mangoes in my schooling with the help of my mates---Me being the taller of all---i used to climb the tree and pluck few if we do not have so much of rush on that street then we used to aim at them with stones and cricket balls---it was really cool though.I feel like stealing mangoes especialy when i come accross one---we do not find Apple and Orange trees in here which is really disappointing else i would have been on a Roll .great day.

Well, there are many fruit trees near my home, but I have never felt the need to steal from them . I think that if it is in someone's property, the tree and the fruit is that person's property too, and I don't like taking other's properties without permission.

that's bad...if you don't avoid that, it may bring bigger problems with you. why don't you always bring fruits with you so whenever you see fruits, just look at the fruits with you to avoid thinking of stealing other's fruits.

Inorder to eat fruits from neighbors tree, you should first ask their permision and take it.if its genuine then people give you many.but if you steal then your image is affected inturn they wont treat you friendly.
