Girls Playing DOTA

i know that most of the people who plays dota are guys/males, right? and i know that DOTA is really a game for the boys :D but wait! i also know some GIRLS who knows how to play DOTA and they are even much stronger than the boys! haha! that's really awesome isn't it? hey! i play DOTA as well ;)
Why do GIRLS play DOTA?
- they are curious why do boys get so addicted in DOTA
- it's the way they hang out with their boyfriends (because their boyfriends are addicted to DOTA. haha!)
- girls want to show that they can do better than boys :D
so guys, what do you think about that huh? ;)

I think it's cool when girls play video games. It'll be a challenge to guys. Guys like challenges and girls like to challenge guys and show them they are not always going to come in second. One time I lost to a cute girl in chess and was kind of turned on. I just think a girl who can provide a good challenge is sexy. It's also embarrassing if a guy loses to a girl in something that guys are generally thought to be better at, like video games.

I have seen girl Dota players in the cyber cafes. They are playing well too! The obvious reason is that they are playing side by side with their boy friends. I am not sure if there is any other reason pointed out by you, but I believe the truth is more or less like that.
So, since you are a Dota player yourself, have you found out why guys got so addicted to it?

i am a boy, and i know some girls who play dota very well.
ok, i don't know the reason why they play this game, but i think this is a very wonderful, why are people surprise when a girl play it well? it's common thing.
but my girl friend don't play it and she do not like me play it or any other computer game....

Yeah girls can play DOTA cause it's the game for all but girls can do better than boys? I dOnT tHiNk So.. HAHAHA... :)

I think same.DOTA is not only for boys.Here in my server I have many friends girl.They play DOTA very cool,but I agree more % players is boys.why ? we more addicted to this game ? I think that and the boys addicted to video games more than gils not only for DOTA.

hi,there!I am a girl DOTA player.I began to play it about 5 months ago,from then on,i play it occasionally,not addicted to it.At first when i saw my elder brother play it,i thought it was boring.But my brother loves it,and he insisted that he teach me.And i learned.You see,i love it.I think it is not surprising at all that girls play DOTA.They are equal to boys in this.

Hi jellyace,
I do not think that DOTA is for male only game. As long as you know how to play it then you can play no matter whether you are a boy/male or girl/female. It is a game at all and if you enjoy it then you can play it regardless of your gender.
But usually boys would not want to play with the girls because they believe the girls can not give a satisfactory challenges. Or they might feel shy if the lost in that game.
