Hi, razim17. I use both oil and butter. They are both healthy for me to eat. For my butter, I use, Smart Balance. For my cooking oil, I use Wesson Canola Oil. Both of these food items are very delicious and heart healthy. They both aid in reducing high Cholesterol too.

The only thing I fry in butter are mushrooms. The rest is either sunflower oil (100%) or a mixture I make of sunflower and olive oil for some better tasting vegetable stir fries. Vegetable oils are healthier than animal fat, but even in vegetable fat there are great differences. Thus, there are some vegetable oils that are not good for frying as health goes. But Sunflower, canola, olive are very good.

i think it should be the oil. but i also think most of the people prefer to use butter. at first,i dont like butter,it not only can get people fat ,but also bad for people's health. everyone should know this but still choose to eat .i have to say that it really attract me. i prefer to bake the bread slip every morning and with sone butter, the smell is really good and taste really nice.so anyway, whatever which one is bad or good for health, istill keep my habet.....~~~

I prefer oil,cos the butter was scientifically proven to be having aflatoxin a cancer-causing substance or carcinogenic..but i am not saying that it could lead to cancer once you ate some peanuts..well some oils derived from peanuts but it was better if you choose what you eat very carefully.most especially the raw foods...hope that helps...

Both are bad for health if taken in large quantities. compared to butter oil is better to consume it in all kinds of foods and salads. The best oil is Olive oil which is free of cholesterol.

If its Olive oil that is great for you. Other oils and butter I don't think are as good as the Olive oil. However, when a baking recipe calls for oil I usually substitute it with butter. So I think butter is better then regular oil but Olive oil is better then regular oil or butter.

I actually use both oil and butter. I also heard that they are fats and that they are not good for our health and all that so I switched to using vegetable oil rather than oil coming from animal fat. Butter is also good but I dont use it for frying something cause the food tastes different and it also get burned so its not very convenient. I also use a lot of butter when baking instead pf using lard or oil.

We use also much oil than butter /it depends of teh receipt/. I guess if it's a high quallity oil or butter you can choose anyone. The important thing here is not to put too much.

I find olive oil the most healthiest cooking oil but don't use extra virgin it will make your food taste bitter. I personally think cooking oil is more healthy than butter, because butter is more high in fat. If you use butter to fry food it will be more delicious but more dangerous to your health.

I feel that butter taste better but oil is better for you, especially olive oil is supposed to be the number one cooking material. I actually had this dilemma earlier today while cooking. I ran out of butter, so by default I had to go with vegetable oil. Olive oil is expensive, which is why I just chose to buy vegetable oil temporarily. For a safe bet stick with the olive oil.
