Why the selectors so harsh ?

Indian selectors are not doing a good job it their seat.
I dont know on what basis they are selecting the team.
selectors are not selecting players who were in good form & they are continiously avoiding some players.
in the recent t20 WC squad also shows it .
players like Irfan,Kohli... are few examples.
Why irfan,kohli,uthappa...are not choosen to the squad.
they are playing very good.
Why the selectors select Chawla,rohit sarma,vinay kumar.
there is no place for chawla in the team,bajji,yusuf,yuvi,jadeja,shewag ,raina can handle the spin bowling department.
uthappa should have selected instead of rohit sarma.
on what basis vinay kumar is in the team.irfan should have given a chance there.
So what do you think ,does the selectors doing the job perfectly?

well let me tell you this.
harsha bogle said this on a TV interview after the selection.
"if you pick a 15 member squad that doesnot include irfan pathan,then you must have picked a world's very best 15 member squad that there is no place for a talented all rounder like irfan pathan"
that itself says a lot.in other words,if you wanna leave out irfan,then you must have picked a squad in which you are confident of every player.
unfortunately,i dont see this in this squad.rohit is believed to be the next sachin in the domestic circuit but he is having trouble being a finisher these days.
and you are right.you will always go with 3 seamer,one main spinner and rest 4 overs by part timers,why you need a spinner in the squad

we ned a spinner because selectors need to pick harbhajan. and they dont belive in their partime spinners.
as far as irfan is concerned they bought him up from under-19 cricket and played him for 2 years and then dropped him because of poor form.
then started ipl, platform for the indians to show their strength and caliber, irfan proved well on that platform but still not picking him.
then why the hell should bcci conduct the tournaments like ipl?

Hiii..
thers s some politics in selection committee..
but uthappa playing well after the team announced, but why they left kohli, he playing well only.. have u seen last test series with SA, in first test they selected two new players, by that every one came to know. that the selection committee s very worst.. i think rohit ll not be in 11 players.. but all un expected things happening.. lets seeeeee

whats wrong with irfan too?
he is performing with both bat and ball........
i think selectors has banned him
