I was outside for a few hours the other dad with my dad helping him rake up the yard and the few days since even though I have gotten my normal rest I just feel really tired and have very little energy. is anyone else feeling like this? can my allergies be part of the problem?

I thought I had no energy because it was still cold outside. Now, it's warmed up and I still have no energy. I don't have any sniffles, etc., so I don't think it's allergies. I know I'm suppose to be taking thyroid pills and haven't been. So I'm going to start (and keep) taking them in hopes that is all it is... Hope you find out the cause of your lack of energy...

well it may just be that I was out in the heat too long that one day and that could be the cause of it seeing as I have been sleeping fine and getting up like I usually do just haven't felt very energetic the last few days I'm sure if it cools down a little I'll get back to normal as I never liked it when it got too hot outside.

Well, if it lasts too long, I'd pay the doctor a visit. You could have gotten heat stroke or something similar...

Hi tim, thanks for coming with a new topic. At least it won't be boredom to see the same topic. BTW, we jump to your main chore. I could not see the less energy is related to the allergies. So my best advice is go to the doctor and make a full check up. You must aware on your health care!

my allergies usually effect me as far as the eyes go and having to sneeze or blow my nose a lot of the time. I don't recall them ever making me feel lethargic and unenergetic, but that is the way I have been feeling the last few days since I was out in the heat and it may be just that I was out in the heat too long as the heat and I don't get along too well.

Allergies can be the problem. If you are stuffed up , you are using all your energy trying to breathe.

Everything slows down during hot weather.

yeah I could see that being a problem, but I'm not so sure that it is the allergies as much as it has been really hot and that gets to me too.

Could be your allergies. Or it could be "spring fever". I wouldn't say I'm energetic, but I've been getting things done around the yard. Maybe I'm borrowing your energy.

Well, it's rainy out, and I doubt I'll be doing much today so you can have your energy back. Everything looks really, really green, btw.

well I don't mind if you borrowed it, but be sure to send some of it back to me at some point please. It has gotten pretty hot out it got over 80 today and that is a little too warm for my liking and that may be part of it too.

I do not think it has anything to do with your allergies, unless you are taking medication. Sometimes when our bodies do not do physical work everyday such as raking the yard, the following couple of days, you might feel tired and have little energy, because your body is recovering and reacting to have been overworked,,, your body is just re-energying it's self, and you should be as good as new in a couple of days.I think this happens to most of us, we just do not realize it usually until the following days.Rest up, take care, you should be good as new in no time.

hey lise! nice to hear from you it has been a long time. well I would probably say that with the extreme heat that we have been getting which is very unusual for this time of the year is probably more of the culprit then my allergies, because I do not do too well when it is very hot outside. thanks for you response :-)

Sure your allergies could be making you feel sluggish. But another thing you may want to have checked is your iron level. I know that when my iron gets low then I start feeling like all life has been drained out of me.

it is kind of strange, because I was helping day in the yard that one day and since that day haven't had a lot of energy, but I really don't do well in the heat as it is so that isn't helping me much either. today was the first day that my allergies really bothered me as far as having to blow my nose and stuff like that is concerned.
