What's up with google adsense?

I've enrolled twice now on google adsense. They said it'll take up 2 days for them to review my application but it had been more than a week and my application is still pending. Is it supposed to be this way? Or what do you think about this? What can you suggest?

Are you submitting the same website/blog?
I submitted my last blog when it was 6 weeks old. And I was accepted within hours.
You could always write them and ask what the holdup is.

how old was your site? How much visits a day does it generate? Does it matter how much traffic your website gets?

oh yes sometimes it take a week or so they have a lot of applications come in it took them like four days for mine, but I just apply and checked my email and saw it, because I had forgot about it lol. Yes you can communicate with them, but just wait it out and they will approve it soon.

I had to do a couple of posts to show activity and it was approved in minutes, I think they want to see what the content is about. The first time I tried got nothing. Then I followed the suggestion and now I need followers, lol.
