Normally at home and restaurants we get chicken eggs, how many of you tasted the eggs laid other than the chicken. I have tasted quail eggs, duck eggs, peacock eggs, sparows eggs and pigeon eggs. Of all them , Quail Eggs are very attractive, tasty and healthier than chicken eggs. Do you have any egg knowledge to share here.

that is right, chicken eggs are the most commonly consumed eggs in our household. yes i have also tried quail eggs. but i love the duck eggs most. we call them here as "balut" which has already chick inside and "penoy" without a chick inside.

I don't have any knowlege on eggs. I buy the chicken eggs. I did by quail eggs once, man were they tiny!! And colorful too. I didn't eat them though, they were so small I didn't know what to do with them. It seemed that it would take the whole dozen to make scrambled eggs the size of two chicken eggs. I was looking forward to trying them but just didn't know how to fix them.

Five quail eggs are equal to one chicken egg, you can break five quail eggs on the pan and make a attractive omlet.

I have eaten duck and quail eggs before. In my country, duck eggs are usually made into salted eggs, which taste nice when eaten with porridge. Quail eggs are tiny and nice to eat too. We usually cook quail eggs in soup or simply fry them with vegetables.

I've never tried any egg besides chicken, but I do have a desire to try Quail eggs. I've heard they are delicious, and I'm sure my mother would have a few recipes to try them in. :]

Just place some quail eggs on boiling water and allow it to boil for three and a half minutes and peel the shell under the running water(cold) enjoy them with sauce of your choice.
