Marriage Proposal

I have been with my husband for 14 years now. Before we got married, we already have a son. Our marriage was not planned because while hearing mass, it was announced that the church will be having mass marriage especially for those living together for 5 years or more. After the mass, my husband went to the church's office to get the requirements. He just did that, without making a proposal to me..Haha.
And so, we did got married after a month.
And now I am asking you husbands and wives there...How did you propose to your wife or how did your husband propose to you?

The marriage proposal came in quite casually for us. The first time he asked the question, we were crossing the street to grab lunch. I said yes immediately. That time, he didn't give me a ring yet. I think it took a few months before he slipped it on my finger while I was playing a video game at his apartment. There was no kneeling or whatever, but it was still a sweet gesture. Having a guy propose marriage to you is a big leap for them and for your relationship, that's why even if it seemed too simple, it was special for me.

At least you got married. I'm a 23 year old single. I'm still waiting for the right time to get married. I need to do a lot of things first like make enough money, have plenty of time with myself and family and enjoy the single life before I get married.

my husband went straight in asking me for marriage even when he was still on the stage of courting me. long before we are committed. he said that if i will just give my yes to him for a relationship, we will get married after. he told me his plans and all those things, so that when we are already in a relationship, he just give me the engagement ring and after a few months we got married with a very simple wedding. the kind of ceremony i always want to have for my wedding day. with only few people, the ones who are very important in our lives, around.
