The best Ipod I would say is the Ipod touch.
It is so easy to use and has so many applications you can use, like hundreds of games to choose from and even an application to start or open your car via wifi. =P
The Ipod touch is basically the Iphone but without the phone and a few other features specific to the Iphone.
It's a little expensive but it really is worth it in my opinion.

Two of the most attractive features of the iPod Touch are the wide screen video player (something you can hook up inside your car in lieu of those NextBase players) and the full featured Safari browser (which allows you to surf and comfortably read blogs via wifi without opening up your laptop or desktop computer).

I have the ipod touch, and I don't play on it everyday, but I do once in awhile. I figure that since I don't have AT&T, it is as close to the iphone as I am going to get. I like the fact I can put a lot of apps on it, even though it is only the 8gb one, as I felt when I bought it, that I didn't need anumore than that, as I am not putting all that much music on it anyway. I got it more for the apps. I would really suggest the ipod touch as you won't be disappointed. Take care, and happy mylotting.
