I am from India and am using BSNL's broadband. The problem now is,I can't get connected to the net whenever there is power cut problems.I have my UPS but the other end,I mean BSNL has not mush power to transmit.Daily there is a power cut for three hours and in those time, there is the problem and not at all at other times.
Can I boost those low signals at that time?If yes, how?

Hi srganesh,
I am using the MTN broadband. If my UPS have enough battery back up then I don’t face any difficulty to get connected. I don’t understand why you can’t connect with the net even if there is UPS with you. Sometimes the connection is getting disconnected when the power goes off but by switching off and on the ADSL can reconnect the net. Please check it with the provider or give a call to the help line. I hope you can solve the problem at the earliest.

sorry for the late response. The problem is solved and the culprit is my new UPS. It is working in normal current and when the power goes off, it cannot give out the right voltage output and hence the modem cannot function properly. And this cannot be rectified even after a service.
