What's the best April Fool's joke/prank you saw or heard in the media this year.

The Guardian had a great one, they claimed that the Labour Party's new election strategy was to try and portray Gordon Brown as a tough guy / fighter willing to challenge David Cameron (to a fight!) - they even had mock up posters with Gordon looking rough and the slogan "step outside posh boy".
One Tory blogger (and councillor) thought it was true

Also BMW had a mock advert for a clip on badge to go over the car logo badge to show the colour of your chosen party - the "The BMW Political Roundel Attachment Tag" aka Prat, Radio 4 apparently had a totally deadpan report, complete with expert, revealing evidence that William Shakespeare was actually French, and google uk's animal translater was a laugh (but not as good as their old classic revealing the 'truth' behind site rankings - it's all done by pigeons.)

I thought it was pretty funny when my publisher sent me an e-mail with a sale coupon for ordering more copies of my book, telling me that my book was now available as a scroll. LOL I remember thinking that would be a neat idea, wondering how many I wanted to order, and then I looked closer, and saw it was a flippin' April Fools joke. LOL

I think the funniest one I heard of this year was someone put a sign up over a printer at work and said it was now "voice activated." People kept talking to the machines all day even though they were the same old machines!
