emergency plan

Now that it's storm season in the US, what do you tell your kids? Do you have an emergency plan or are you just relying on the fact that you're the parent and they should listen? Do your kids know what to do in a weather emergency and will they do it?

Raising them in Texas, they knew what our emergency plan was, and what to do in case of a storm/tornado. Because of that, I don't worry about them knowing what to do now that they are grown and living else where, one still in Texas and one in Virginia. I was also a weather spotter with Skywarn, so that also helped to teach them what to look for, to listen to weather statements, etc.
