Me and my friends all have different religions. Catholic, mormon, jehova's witness, protestant and INK. But this is not a problem for all of us. We try not to talk about our religions. Instead, we respect each others beliefs...we never argue about religion. For us, friendship matters.

I have friends from lots of different religions.
we like talking about our religions.
because we RESPECT each other, and accept each other as we are, it doesn't come between us.
friendship matters to us too.
but we don't feel a need to pretend that so important an aspect of our friend as their spiritual journey doesn't exist.

well, thats nice to hear. Of course we do mention religion once in awhile but not really talking much about that. Not for any reasons. We just dont talk about it. Mostly, we talk about our daily lives, housechores, kids, etc. respect doesnt choose whether people talk about their religions or not. If talking about it makes you all comfortable and happy, thats nice and if you prefer not talking about it, no problem too. tnx for the response..i like it. God bless.

I think you both have great friendships and I think its beautiful either way... I have both kinds of friendships. Like I think Galena may have been pointing out, I think it's a whole new level of love, bonding, and maturity when a pair of friends can 'bond spiritually' despite differences in religion.

Hi ipoemea, It's too bad that there aren't more people in the world like you and your friends. Respecting each others faith or lack of it is the only way to live. We are all one and eventually we will see that. Friendship matters and arguing over religion only causes problems. Blessings.

Why is it good to run from our differences?? I have friends from most every religion. We all interact well. Sure there is drama from time to time but look how much we learn from each other. Interaction is part of the learning process. That is why we are all different. If we were all the same, we could learn nothing. To go through life walking on eggshells, afraid to step on any toes, only wanting peace at any cost will just keep you from learning some of the most wonderful things in life. Get back in there. Share that which is special about you. Let them have it as you see it!!In the end, they will love you for it!!

I know what you mean. There were also 5 members in my bunch of friends when I was in college and all of us belong to a different sect but there was never a time that we argue about our beliefs. I think it was even a good thing that we have one thing in common and that has something to do with God cause it made us closer to each. We also respected the difference in our beliefs so that's the reason why we dont really have arguments.

Is nice to see other people out there RESPECTING other peoples beliefs. I have friends from all over the world and we don't discuss our beliefs nor do we try to convert them into our religion. In the end no religion is right or wrong. You believe what you want and not what other people tell you to believe.
