The former Edie is suing alleging assault and wrongful termination. She claims Marc Cherry hit her in the face in September, 2008. She says when she complained to ABC that he wrote her out of the show. She is suing for $20 million and the suit also names ABC.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm................that seems quite odd. If it was truly wrongful termination I hope she does win the lawsuit because that's unfair. = /

Didn't know this at all. I'm curious too, as to whose right and whose wrong..

stealthy,
Tabloids! Tabloids! Tabloids!
I just wonder if this show's popularity is actually dropping, considering that its screening has been extensive which to date has entered into the 6th season.
I do not see anything else here, for it had been quite a considerable period of time since her departure from the show where her portrayal of Edie Britt ended last season after being electrocuted. Which I have to question what happened and why it took so long for this to be reported?
Back to this discussion proper, this Marc Cherry is really quite a character himself and I just find him quite unbecoming and unprofessional.

I wondered why she was written off the show. If this is truth, then she desires to be compensated for loss of employment.
