I have recently started to play the online RPG. I find it fun to play. I am very new to the game and I was wondering if you guys have any tips. Also, what level are you?

OK, some money making tips for new players are, go to the lumbrige cow fields and gather cow hides (you can take other peoples drops as sometimes people don't pick them up. Then take these hides to the tanner in Al Kharid (east of lumbrige through the gate) and get them tanned into hard leather (this will cost a few coins per hide), the tanner is a short walk from the bank there. Now take these tanned cowhides to the grand exchange in varrock and sell them. From the grand exchange buy more cowhides, then go to the tanner again and tan them, then back to the grand exchange. If you do this enough you will almost double your money each time and amount of hides you can buy next time. Another method is to buy buckets (I would get around 200) and fill them at the fountain that is a short walk from the grand exchange. Buy some clay then use the buckets on the clay to make soft clay, then sell the soft clay on the grand exchange for almost double profit again. If you use these methods you will get a lot of money and thus will help towards levelling as well. I won't say all the good methods for skilling because it will take too long, I think that if you have a bit of money that should start you off. OK, and as for your other question my combat level is 104 but I do not fight very much, I prefer to skill (my total level is 1729 btw =P). Hope I helped. =)

Wow, Thank you so much! That is defiantly going to help me as I play! I just have a question... How does the grad exchange work? To I propose to trade with people or something like that? I went there once I think and I say the bank tellers in the middle and there was a whole bunch of people but I was unsure how to exactly start exchanging my goods for other people coins. Thanks for all your help, it will truly help me succeed in the game! And wow, nice job with the total skill there! Mine is still in the hundreds... But I expect to get it up and high like you very soon! It's a fun game! Once again, thanks! -BestComputerGeek

I haven't played runescape in awhile since I was busy with school but I remember it being so much fun. I would sit in class just waiting til I could go home and runescape. I made it to lvl 99 until I stopped playing. I think if you're just starting, the banana mini-quest at kajama is a great way to make money and do all the easy quests to gain some lvls and gps. Have fun.

I love killing hill giants because I can sell their big bones and limpwurt roots in the Grand Exchange for a lot of money and I gain experience too for killing them.

Oh man Runescape, A good past time in my childhood. I still play even today! Currently I'm level 99. My tips that I can give you is to start out by training your stats until they are pretty decent! I'm not sure if you can adjust to this but I reccomend Buy low and Sell high! But as for a low level I reccomend Cow hides as that is a good way of making cash if your at such low level. I would kill cows JUST for the hides, bank them and repeat the process. I would bring food as well as they can deal a bit damage if you do not have a good defence level! Hope this helped! Happy MyLotting! - Fry

I think the best thing to do is to mine rune essence or make the soft clay. btw to mine rune essence you have to complete the rune mysteries quest. Well you can do that mine a lot mine a 1,000 for a lot of money. Don't sell your essence though put them in the bank and then wait for times when young people would have a lot of time to skill. Then at the time demand will go way up and everybody will want it so you can sell it then. During spring break the prices went up to 100gp per essence. so i got 100k from a 1,000 essence
