Last week I collected 3 different medications from the pharmacist and topped up my little 7-day pill-box. This morning, I went to top it up again and one type had disappeared
The only thing I can think of, is that, when I threw away the empty packs last week, I threw the new supply of that tablet out with them
Have you ever lost or accidentally thrown away your medication? ((You haven't got mine have you ??????))

I haven't thrown away any medication yet...but I can help you look for yours:P
My husband is a pharmacologist and he's in charge of the medication and everything related to medicines. So, when I need something, I ask him....he needs to be sure HE isn't throwing anything away.

I am fortunate not to be on any prescription medications, so I have not done that. I have some other things that have mysteriously gone missing, and I am upset about that. I wonder if they accidentally went in the trash can. I see that you are going to be able to replace your medicine, and that is a very good thing. My dil had some strong meds taken out of her car, parked right up next to her house once time, and was able to get them replaced.

Yes, I have your medication. Leave a photograph of Chuck Norris with his authenticated signature on it beneath the second largest oak tree in Hyde Park and be sure to have it there by noon tomorrow. If you are late, or if the photograph or signature is NOT the real deal, you will never see your tablets again.

Do you seriously think I would give in to your ransome demands?? Please, I am made of stronger stuff. Besides which, it would cost me far more to get to Hyde park than the tablets would cost if I had to buy them without prescription!! and, really.... Chuck Norris??????????

I haven't done that, but I did once let my daughter carry my medication, which was in a glass bottle. She dropped it right outside the pharmacy and it broke. They were nice enough to replace it at no charge!

I would be wondering about that one. Hope you find them or can replace them. I have never lost any. Always am very careful. They tend to cost money, hehe. I had a neighbor lady leave her meds at my house once and I didn't realize they were hers. I didn't know her name so when I looked and followed the breadcrumbs as it were I had to laugh.

I am getting them replaced today (now I am worrying that I may have ordered the wrong ones but, hopefully I didnt. I currently have medical exemption on prescription charges so it wont cost me anything but, of course, it will cost "the system" & I feel a bit bad about that.

Did you throw it away or is there someone around that would take it? I guess it depends on what it was. I think we have all accidently throwing something away! Hope you can get some more because where I live they wont refill it unless you only have seven days left.

No, there is no-one here who would have taken it - no small children around or anything.I rang the surgery this morning and the receptionist said they would do me a new prescription. I thought I would probably have to make an appointment to see the doctor but, it seems not. They wont normally issue a prescription before you get down to 7 days but I explained what had happened and they know who I am (I've been registered at the same surgery for the past 23years).

Yes, I did this with my asthma inhaler. I still had about 10 uses left on one and it got mixed up with the new one. The new one was thrown away. It stinks because I can only get it refilled once every 30 days and was SOL for an entire month.
