I know it's fake a long time ago. I watch it because of the stunts. The stunts are real and i like them. Also, i like the divas.

Yeah I think anyone who watches wrestling over the age of ten pretty much knows this by now. Besides its not totally fake...I mean these guys really had to go to school to learn these moves and they really are putting on a performance out there in the ring.

Hi navnathame, Most (if not all) of the wrestling show like WWE, WTA or whatever the name is it, are fake. maybe you can see one or two real thing happen there but most of it was preplanned. Just look the way they punch or kicking their opponent. Their hand or leg seems not touching their opponent at all or only touch the skin (not seriously punched or kicked). If it is a true punches, how on earth there is no one bleeding after being punched by someone who has a big puncher like Jonh Cena, The Animal Batista or The Undertaker. I think I have watch a series about this wrestling tactics to make it look real. It is not from youtube but a tv show just like they show how the magician do all their trick.

It is fake but I still enjoy watching it because of the storyline. For me it is a masculine version of a soap opera. lol. I also know for a fact that most wrestling fans already know that it is pre-planned but I don't think it affected their love for the WWE because they understand that the characters created and the storyline are what made them watch in the first place.

Yes I pretty much figured out when I was 5!!! lol yes of course the storylines are fake and the matches are pre planned but the truth is that the wrestlers really do get injured and really have gone to wrestling school so they can do all the moves correctly and safely. So you could say that it is a bit of both.

It is like watching movies and tv shows, yes its all fake but we still go along for the ride. Yet, with movies and tv shows, you know no one gets hurt. However, when watching wrestling, that can't be said. There is just no way you can jump from on top of a 18ft ladder and not have a few bruises. Or, in Mick Foley's case, fall through a steal cage from 20ft and not get knock out. I am surprised that people will post about wrestling being fake and make it seem like they just unearth the second gunman in the grassy knoll. Or worse, say "How can you watch that stuff, don't you know its fake?". I tend to feign shock and burst out in tears for their amusement when I hear that.
