Hey Guys,I have been a member of My Lot for like more than 4 months now but haven't reached my minimum payout yet.The problem is because of my hectic schedule,I only get time to post once in a while and that too 3 or 4 posts at a time.Is is possible to ask My Lot to reduce the minimum payout to a lesser amount say 5 dollars or even less like most of the PTC sites these days are doing using PayPal??I got no referrals and I m badly in need of money....:(....Could we write to the administrator or something? Is there a provision? Are you guys comfortable with the present payout amount??

When you start a topic, you do not earn for the responses that others post, but if you go and comment to each response you will soon see your earnings increasing and you will get to the $10 too. Commenting back turns it into a discussion and that is what we earn for here

I didn't know that, Diana, I thought the more answers your topic got, the higher you got paid for it.
However, I always respond to my topic's responses, because I personally feel that if I don't then people will think I didn't even read them or that I don't care.

Hi nitinshukla,
I personally don't like high payouts in sites that are not entirely trustworthy, but I have no problem with mylot's $10 minimum because I know they pay, thay have already paid me once immediately after reaching my $10, so it's not a problem, actually.
I don't have any active referrals either and I know how you feel, but I'd reccomend you enjoy mylot's discussions and you'll reach minimum sooner than you think.
good luck and happy posting!

Hi Diana,
well, I thought so at first, but then I read a lot of people saying that the more successful your topic was the more you earned for it, and I thought it had something to do with it being considered "quality posting".
Anyway, as I said before, I like to respond to my friends' responses so that they know I do care for their opinion.

@akuler,
thank you for your response. I thought amount of responses increased the quality of the discussion, that's all.
By the way, can anyone teach me how to place those nice little emoticons in my responses? Thank you!!

Hi Marina!
In response to your comment above, we earn for our OWN activity here, not for that of others.
We are told in the FAQs that if we don't post, we don't earn. The work of others (responses on our dicussions) gives us the opportunity to earn but will only make our own earnings increase if we act on them by commenting back.
From the FAQs:
"If you earned nothing, then you didn’t post anything during the time period in question"

It would be good if mylot will reduce the minimum payout to 5 dollars but so far nothing has changed. I guess, everyone especially the veterans are already comfortable with the current minimum payout. I reached my first payout within two months time but i was very active that time. If i'm not mistaken, it took me 700 posts before i reached 10 dollars. If you're active here, you can easily make 10 dollars in a month, others make even more. Since your time is limited and you want to earn, i suggest you already come up with a list of discussions to start when your off line and post as many as you can when you go online. This will save you a lot of time. I was not able to reach the minimum payment last month but i make up for it this month since i earned double this month.

I am comfortable with it, but I do also wish it to be a little bit smaller...
You will just have to be patient and comment on every response you have got on your discussions. This is my first month here in myLot, and I didn't get my payment, but I will just target next month
Patience, my friend... patience....

well, as you said, it is your hectic schedule that keeps the payout within your reach. it is not about the payout level. of course, we can try to suggest to lessen it but the minimum payout is just right for many who are also in need of money (well, we all do that's why we are here). however, if the payout is lowered, then we will have very few left if we withdraw it from paypal since it also charges a certain amount. so it is advisable to keep the current payout. goodluck and just keep on working...

Patience my friend. A lot of people have given you decent ideas. One more added to it is that make many friends, visit their page and then the discussions they have responded to as well as begun. You may find a few, rather quite a few relevant discussions to responded to. Respond to a discussion (at least one) where you really feel about it and can give enough of your opinion. I am sure you will reach your payout. Maybe it will be slow but you will finally.

To me, the minimum payout amount is OK, though I only hit it after the 3rd month of joining myLot. I'm not sure about whether myLot will reduce its minimum payout to less than $10. You may want to contact myLot admins via the link http://www.mylot.com/o/contactus.aspx. Hopefully Alice the admin sees this post. She may provide you an answer right here.

I highly doubt we'll be lowering the minimum payment... There's no need to contact us on the matter as many already have.

Hi, I managed to reach the payout minimum quite quickly espeically thanks to the tasks. Sometimes there are tasks high paying like $4. I have been here for about a month but have accumulated almost 3 times the minimum payout amount, so i suggest you give it a try. At first i thought the $10 payout was quite high, but then I was impressed at how high my earnings started to reach and am very happy. Hope this will help you. I have no referrals but still manage. Besides try to post discussions which are interesting and stimulating so that people answer to them, as this should help you earn some more. You could try to allocate say 10 minutes a day minimum, say before going to sleep, to post a few comments. That way you will earn a little more.

I also feel the same way, that $10 pay out is to high. I feel that I could not reach that pay out level. But I am working out and very diligent to keep on commenting. I am not posting I just keep on commenting to discussions here. I hope there is a way that we can ask the administrator to lower the payout level.

Indeed some do
By being active, posting and having fun, the earnings add up without you even noticing. A few searches and some simple tasks added to activity in the discussions and you will soon reach it.

Please don't believe everything you read. Many members reach the minimum payout every month.

mmh..i guess it is not possible to transform the minimum payout under the 10$ in reality in all pgpt sites normally 10$ is the minimum and so mylot won't be so special from this point of view!!

I have the same concern as yours, I've been a mylot member for more than 3 years, as a new comer I was also struggling to earn a lot but I felt like it was never enough although I felt like I already wrote a lot.. I got tired and never went back for two years until now.. I went back because I was giving myself hopeful thoughts that I can reach the minimum payout.. just persevere and make it a part of your daily agenda.. I make it to a point to visit and post here everyday despite of my full time stressful job and everything.. then sooner or later, we would realize that we have even reach more than the minimum.. lol. just one of my hopeful thoughts..hehe

I am happy with the payout, as it isn't hard to attain, if you are active enough. I get payout every month, and I don't have referrals either. It does take some effort to make payout, but it can be done. I realize you aren't here that much, but when you are here, just do your best and you will get it eventually. Actually, mylot is more about learning than earning anyway, as the earings we make here aren't very much, but the knowledge we receive is priceless. I must admit I ddint' feel like that all the time though, as when I first came in here, it was all about the money, but I cam eo realize that it is much more than that. I think if we would all come in here, post and not worry about how much we are earning, then we would do so much better, as it has happened to me. I do so much better than when I worry about the earnings. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I've not reached a payout either, for the same reason, I hardly have time to post at all.
I doubt mylot will be chaning the payout level any time soon though.
