I love to travel but until now, i haven't got the chance to travel to another country aside from my own because of lack of huge money to spend for it that's why i considered someone very fortunate if he/she got this chance of visiting another country. Who among my dear MyLotters have done this and what country/countries have you visited, do you enjoy your stay? hope one time i could travel too, that's one of my dreams that i intend to realize. LOL!

A person who can travel abroad would be so fortunate, that's what I thought before. But when I had a chance to travel in Kota Kinabalo, I was thinking that I am not just fortunate to land to another paradise island but also I am so blessed because God given me the chance to travel. Anyways I would like to go the places where you could see mountains, beaches and nature. My first travel was when I am 15 years old I went to switzerland to visit my aunt and stayed their for 2 months only. Its a very cold place and the mountains are so great.

Traveling to Kota Kinabalu is not that expensive, especially that their is an airline who is offering the cheapest price in going their. Just that the place you are going to stay will be expensive. As they are known for tourist people. Mountains in Switzerland are not green as we have here in the Philippines. They have it white and blue/brown combination. So nice to look at.

I haven't been able to travel outside of my country too. I don't have the funds, so it is quite sad. I have a friend who is able to travel in Asia on a budget because she is able to track down discounted airfares. My dream trip would be to go to Egypt because I have always been fascinated by the pyramids. And before going out of my country, I want to explore it too because it is quite sad that foreigners are able to go the my country's beautiful beaches and tourists spots because the prices are unreasonable. The plane fare going to Boracay is almost as much as that going to Hong Kong and it does not include your accomodation .

I suggest you try browsing around for those ridiculously low airfares that I'm sure you've heard about My friend was able to go to Singapore for only P750 (roundtrip fare). When she told me this, I felt really bad because my bus fare to Baguio cost me P980. So, there is hope for us to travel on a budget abroad. We just have to look out for those airfare offers!

Yes, I feel fortunate because I was give a wonderful opportunity to travel abroad for free. I was 10 years old when visited Hongkong and I was with my grandparents, brother and aunt. it was an all expense paid trip courtesy of my ever generous and loving aunt. the airplane ride was a bit scary because it was my first time to travel by air. after a year, i traveled again and this time with my grandfather and brother. we visited hongkong, macau and shenzhen china. i have been to Hongkong for four times and i am planning to go there before the year ends.

It would be really cool to be able to travel to other countries and get to experience their culture and their delicacies. But travel tickets here are really expensive and I cannot afford them. But its really nice to see all those different places on the travel and adventure show and also the reality competition show called The Amazing Race.

I also like traveling but till now I've only been to two countries - Thailand and Singapore. I really enjoyed my experience there for they are beautiful places. I used to make a plan to travel around the world. But it seems that this plan is not easy to be achieved. Nowadays I have to work very hard to collect enough money. I'm sure that the dream of traveling around the world will come true in the future.

Me neither.I haven't got a chance to visit a foreign country yet but I am sure I will one day.Financial reasons surely could be one but other than that I never really had the need to do it.I am still pretty much a student, doing my post graduation.Someday, when I am working and well settled and have loads of spare time,I might plan a trip abroad...:)...The places I'd love to visit are Egypt,Paris,Switzerland,Vegas and Australia.Let us see when my plans materialize.

affordability matters more than interest for visiting other country.many people are not in position to visit places of interest in their own country . very few fortunate people only affordable to do it.

Well, I've traveled abroad just once, so, I'm not that fortunate LOL. I do like to do it again, but my responsibility here doesn't allow me to do so. I would like to go to Mecca, Australia, etc, but my job, my baby, it'll be hard for me to follow my dreams. But life is full of surprises, who knows :)

As far as I am concerned, I think I still do not have enough money for me to travell to another country. For me, I think if I have enough money, I will just travell in my own ountry all day long. Because, I still have not see all the scenery in my own country.
