Each country has its own values. My US dollar is worth less than a Japenese dollar. So in japan it would be worth less, because the dollar is worth more. Plus add in how far they have to be shipped. If all cell phones were made at the north pole, it would cost less to ship them to cananda than it would be to the south pole. So cananda could sell theirs cheaper than the south pole could. Does that make sense?

Yes. I definitely agree with you. Exchange rates affects the prices of commodities. And we have to note that cellphones are being manufactured abroad, so taxes are being imposed which we the consumers will have to shoulder also.

Maybe it is because of the shipping fee and the parts of a particular cellphone that is only limited in other country. Or sometimes it depends on the currency of the country.

I think it has a lot to do with the type of phone, being purchased, and I think it has a lot to with the features, as the more features it has, the more it would cost. It only stands to reason I think, but then I could be totally wrong. The simnple phones that don't have many features would be cheaaper, IO would think, and also each country or region charges their what they want tofr the phones. These are the only reasons I can think of. Take care, and have a very good day.

well, that's an economic question. the price of commodity is determined by the supply and demand.in some countries there are many companies providing cellphone service and less people use it so the price is low .but in some countries only several companies provide this service and many people demand for the cellphone so the price is high.
