regarding ghosts and other supernatural entities :
long ago when i would be frightened after watching a horror movie for example "thats what we watch them for , isn't it?"
my Mom told me "the only really scary thing is people"
I didn't understand then , how can people be scary ?
regarding the devil :
There is no such thing .The devil and the demon is Man .
Man is also God and the angels .
I'll give you a quick clue : anything two people can't agree on a definition for is most probably an invention of imagination . because different people imagine things differently , they will not likely agree .
Add to that the fact that people frequently KILL each other over these fantasies and you get the meaning of my Moms Anecdote .

I do not fully believe in god(I am not a full blown atheist, but I have some doubts.) so Satan in my view is fictional to an extent. I view allot of things in the bible as analogies, The devil to me is a symbol of the average persons "dark side" as it were.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us.His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer.Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light.Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

I agree with you..you cant believe in God and not in Satan. Good & evil always go hand in hand - like two sides of a coin. So if good (God) exists so does evil (Satan).

I do believe in the presence of other people especially people who is bad or are bad influences for you. Like God he does exist also in the presence of good people.

i believe with this...Satan, from the Hebrew word for "adversary", is a term that originates from the Abrahamic faiths, being traditionally applied to an angel. Ha-Satan is the accuser, a member of the divine council, who challenged the religious faith of humans, especially in the books of Job and Zechariah. Religious belief systems other than Judaism relate this term to a demon, a rebellious fallen angel, devil, minor god and idolatry, or as an allegory for evil.

Ghosts have nothing to do with Satan. Religions and paranormal phenomenas are hard to explain most of the time you see things that are not there because your brain can play tricks on you that doesn't meant that ghosts are real. It depends on your point of view. I believe in ghosts, but I don't believe in god or satan.

Actually God created the different natured creatures, i.e Angels, Jinn and Human Beings.
Angels: created through Light of heaven.
Jinn: created through Fire
Human Being: Created through clay
Angels are innocent creatures of God, they are free from any sin, they do not have any will to attarct towards sin.
Jinn: God created them through fire, fire is able to burn and destroy anything.
When the God orderd all the angels and jinns to fall down in the feet of Adam (Human), all the angels followed the order of God, but Jinn refuse to abey his order, In the result God became angry with him and ordered him to getout from the heaven, He came out from heaven but requested to the God to empowered him to enter in the heart of Human to provoke them against the right path of God. God agreed and empowered him with some special powers and also told him that you will not be successful to provoke my right followers, who are following my teachings.Thats is the reason most of the jinn try to provoke the people to follow the wrong path taught by Satan (Jinn).
Human Bieng: The God created him through Clay and empowered him with the powers of both satanic and angel.
God sent some Prophets among the Human Being to educate them from right and wrong, and leave them on the choice of their own, either they want ot follow the teachings of Satan or the teaching of God.
It is the exam/test of Human taken by the God, thats why, in the return God keep the rewards for his Right followers and punishment for the peoples followed by the satan.
It is our responsibility to learn and keep ourselves aware
about right and wrong, and follow the right path of God.

If you can't explain phenomenons, how can you speak about Satan and Demons with certainty?
I don't believe in God and so I can't believe in Satan, I think that bad and good are in every human being, everybody has lights and shadows, and we should always have to reckon with the fact that we could behave badly or well with people.
