Are you sure you are goung to heaven?

Heaven is very far from my shadow. given the many sins I have done. many mistakes I've done. very difficult for me to get to heaven. goodness I do not cover the sins that I did. I just resigned to what God gives me. heaven or hell that I will receive. heaven on earth I have never felt let alone heaven in the hereafter. now I just try not to sin again. I tried to obey all the commands of God and away from any restrictions. It feels so difficult to realize, because my life is chaotic.

The system allows even a thief or murderer into heaven. There are ways and means to qualify.

If I believed in heaven (I dont) I would say that yes I would be going there...Though its very true I've done some very unsavoury things in my lifetime..the good far outweighs the bad and the bottomline is that I am a solid, loving, compassionate, kind person who does her best to live a positive life...

It all depends on Which heaven you are talking about. If heaven is Only for Christians, then I am sure I am not! But if you mean by heaven that during life and after it I am real close to my G-d and as long as I do the best I can That I will be rewarded , then I would say yes I am sure I'm going to heaven.

Personally, I wouldn't want to go heaven! Think about this; heaven is forever! Sure you get to walk on streets paved with gold, and sit on the left hand of God, right next to Jesus, but wouldn't your bum get sore, just sitting there forever? So whats next? The grass never needs cutting, the trees never need trimming, and there is always plenty to eat in the frig!I'm sorry but Heaven is definitely not for me, unless I could get a job working for the Devil, stoking the fires of Hell!

I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. He is the way to eternal life with God.

Since I lack the belief the existence of any deities, I guess they will not allow me into their kingdom. Oh well!

Hi ifa225, I do not want to go to the heaven that many Christians believe in,it would be far too boring. If you can't get along with your next door neighbor here, how are you gong to get along with them in heaven? Of course, maybe they will change then and come around to your way of thinking. I believe in God but not your traditional heaven and hell. What are the clergy going to do in heaven anyway? Supposedly, they'll have no one to preach to and no one will think that they are better than others. We are spiritual beings having a human experience and as spiritual beings we will continue to grow but none of us need have any fear of a loving God who is so far ahead of us that nothing but unconditional love can describe it. I also believe though that God said in his model prayer that: "his kingdom come... on earth like in heaven", I bleieve that he will have a kingdom here on earth as well. so we need not go to heaven to experience his love. Mat 6:9

going to heaven is dependent on believing in Christ (john 3:16) and the following verses: 2 Tim 3:16 - using the God's word and letting it influence your life 1 Cor11:3 - believing Jesus' rightful place in the righ hand of God. MAt 5:44 - loving your enemy

No..i'm not sure to get posting in heaven..But i'm damn sure i get posting in hell if i die now only .on the basis of the deed i have been done till date..but i will do some nice thing in future so the chances of getting vaccancy in heaven will there..hope god will show some mercy on me...when i stand in front of him...

I donot konw if I can go to heaven. I wish things get better. The only thing I can do is to live better and try my best to help people around me. I just know that god likes kind people.

Yes, I am sure. Going to heaven doesn't depend on me, it depends on Christ. None of us can ever "qualify" to enter heaven on our own, only through accepting Jesus can we become worthy.

Hmmm...good discussion. Well, let's start with this - I don't believe in a Heaven like the Christians do. I suppose that if there is this Christian Heaven that I wouldn't be going based on standard beliefs on how you get there. I do good works, but I also do things that solely benefit me. I guess I'm just evil like that (LOL) I don't accept Jesus as my savior so according to standard Christian belief _ I'm not going to Heaven. HOWEVER - me personally - I do believe in an after life and I do believe that I am going there - along with all of the magically wonderful people and the murderers as well. Overall, I like who I am. I am a good person and I try to do right. Life is full of lessons to be learned. Since there are lessons to be learned - there are obviously mistakes to be made to learn those lessons so yes - I - as well as everyone else - get to move forward in an afterlife. (my opinion anyways). Thanks for the discussion!!

ifa22 how the heck will I know all I know it I do hope so as I have done much good in my life, and have never done anything really bad, tHis I have no way of knowing, and I will just keep on doing good and being happy til its time for me to go. How are we supposed to answer this?
