Starting on ebay

Hey mylotters and hopefully experienced ebayers that are reading this right now! I have been using ebay for atleast 3-4 years now and know the basics. And for the last year I have been very intrested in starting a little business selling stuff on ebay. I finally decided to start by reading a couple of books. So in the last couple of weeks a have learnt a lot of new information about ebay. I am presently stile trying to find the right thing to sell. But before, I want to hear directly from the ebayers that use ebay as a part-time job or even a fulltime job. All usefull information is wanted :P The more the better! :D Any good success stories? Just anything you think can help me. Thanks so much in advance!

I made a lot of money selling the "junk" from my house a few years back. You know just stuff I did not use anymore books,cds I was quite surprised at what people will buy, especially if they get caught in a bidding war. I did look at starting an e bay business afterwards but competition is quite fierce and I found it hard to find a niche product. Also you need the money to buy wholesale.
