In order for a student to have a good grades, he or she must have good study habits to be followed religiously. When I was still a student, I used to take down notes on every lesson my teacher gave to us. And even if our teacher is not writing the lectures on the board, I still take it down on my notes. And I also remember the dates when will be our exam so I can prepare for it. As much as possible, I review my notes because I find it beneficial. I hate cramming so much that is why I want to be prepared always. How about you? What are your styles in studying to have a good grades?

I used to take notes of all the lectures in my class as it was very useful to brush up during my exam times. Sometimes i used to take a seminar .that really helps me a lot to gain more knowledge. This way of preparation for the exams will surely help students to score more marks.

I find that I utilize the time honored but rarely used tactic of paying attention in class and taking notes. Seriously, you would be surprised how few people tend to use this tactic and it can be a rather affective one in many ways. I am actually shocked how much I remember after the class, as opposed to my unfortunate ways back in the day of only really paying half attention and then trying to go into the test after cramming everything into my head. Then when I go with the assigned readings, I read those and take notes. I find this is a much easier way of studying then trying to look over everything before the test. In fact, when I try and look everything before the test, whether it be the night before or if I have a study hall period, a lot of it tends to leak out of my mind slowly and then I go blank. This way is much better, as I am technically studying as I go and breaking it up into installments. After all, I think a bit of information can be retained better than something comprehensively. You may have to do a bit of reviewing just to ensure that everything is known but that is maybe an hour at the very most. Really, there is more time being spent if you try and just study everything. In fact, I have gotten by with fifteen minutes of traditional studying and have gotten good grades on the test. Not that I would really recommend that to anyone but I am just saying, it is in fact possible to do.

i like studying on my own and set up goals. though i believe a teacher is really important for your studying,in many cases in our life ,there are no teacher who will teach us what to do.all we can do is to depend on ourselves. so i regard self study ability as the most important quality for a student.
