I really think I love and appreciate his addition to the world of rock and it's progression. He stood his own ground and made his own statements. He was a gifted musician and man of his times.

I love his version of the Star Spangled Banner during the Vietnam War, very political and powerful. It was meant not to be patriotic, but anti-war.
