I've tasted both kinds of tea. Milk tea originated from thailand/hong kong. Green tea, on the other hand comes from Japan. I like green tea better. It uses the ingredient matcha which you can use in different drinks/dishes. I love green tea especially when it's in smoothies form :) For you, which one is better?

Hi pierrella, green tea and milk tea having their respective delicous tastes. Both are my favorites. I usually prepare milk tea for my husband as well as me using the local black tea stirred with milk powder and the required amount of condensed milk. I like the savor of milk tea when it's served freshly hot
Green tea is beverage which is good for our health. We usually would purchase some while having vacation in different places. Therefore there are different variety of green tea available in our kitchen. I like to have a close sniff on it when the hot green tea prepared fresh. Green tea is the best beverage to quench the thirst during hot sunny day. And it is easy to prepare as well
Have a nice day

I love my teas when served cold :) I'm not really a fan of hot drinks. But, yes, both of them are delicious :)

Green tea for me! I love it hot or cold with very little sugar, just the right amount of sweetness I desire. Anyway, I drink milk tea too, I'm not saying I don't like it or it doesn't taste good at all, because it does. It's just that I love green tea a lot more.

Hi, pierrella.
Personally I prefer green tea. It's good for your health, for example, to lower high cholestrol, reduce chances of heart disease and so on.
In my hometown, people are used to drinking green tea after meals and hosting guests with it whenever they pay a visit.

Yes, I just discovered the effects of green tea recently. Unfortunately, it is not really a popular drink here in the Philippines. When they started to make it taste a bit more commercial (sweeter and with more flavors), that's the time it grows popular more and more each day.
