We originally from monkey. From an Animal. Scientist said that. They have given us name homoapains something like that. We latter become your so called human being. I some times think we are not still changed from animal to human. We don't have such qualities like to be a human. We are still living in a barbarous society, still doing cruel things, still having egos, anger, cruel nature... do you called yourself changed?
BOth nature are inside mans heart, animal nature also. We can eat both meat and veg. because we have meat eating teeth.
Ya we have learn a b c d.. discovered something..and we will end the life of earth.. i suppose...so are we became human..?
so are you human or animal?

If the monkey had a brain as big us that of a human then a monkey can be the best chef in the world.

I only believe what God has told us, not scientists who judge based on empirical evidence only. Humans are created, not going through evolution. Up until this time, there were no fossil evidence that shows humans evolve from apes. check harunyahya.com for details.
The big difference between humans and other created creatures is that we are given the power to rationalize, create, and even manipulate. Animals for instance, uses their instincts, that is why you will not see a cow eating sardines, or fussing about the taste of grass. They simply do two things, eat it or leave it.
Sadly, many people still hang on to the evolutionary theory despite its lack of evidence. Whether we realized it or not, we are living in the world which impose the animal kingdom's rule: eat or be eaten (iow, survival of the fittest).
Another big difference is that unlike animals which only have life, humans have life and soul. Proof? Check this. When you slaughter a cow, even though the head is already cut off its body, the body can still move by itself, right? However, if you chopped a head of a human, the body will not move by itself (Don't try it anywhere). That is why in the Book of my religion, humans are mentioned as "the best creation". Would we put down ourselves to the level of animals just because somebody told us that we evolve from them? I don't think so.

Some intellectual decided one day that because humans had a brain, humans should be civilise.
But what is civilise exactly?
And flash news!
Every animal specie has a brain! And know how to use it.
It is not so much our brain which separate us from the animals, but the fact that we have two hands and ten fingers. Our hands permit us to build things. And as we build things, we use our brain to learn to build better things.
Animals form communities.
Humans form communities.
Animals fight the enemy to protect their community.
Humans fight the enemy to protect their community.
Animals usually get along with others within their community.
That makes animals civilise.
Animals will not fight each other within their community, unless they want to challenge the leader for supremacy.
But humans? They'll challenge anyone and everyone.
Humans have a thirst for power over others.
I am human. But I wish I was a cat.
That would make me more civilise than any human.

Animals and humans are the exact same thing. There is nothing that seperates us from the animal race. The only thing is we can consider ourselves intelegent, but other animals, who live purely on instinct, consider themselves intelgent too, but they can't tell us this in a way we would uunderstand.

We have not evolved from monkeys. Monkeys are not our ancestors. It is true that we are closely related species. In vertebrates there are four species coexisting: 1) Creatures or animals; 2) men; 3) human; 4) humans who are divine. The creature who acquired an upright posture, power of articulate speech, superior mental development and a flat base became man. He was one stage above animal. The man who became kindly and humane, who was loving, caring, sympathetic, patient and tolerant became human. However, he did not have these qualities natural in him. All who could do is to pretend. However, there were some, they had their conduct laced with these qualities. They do not have to pretend. They could really love, really care for others; they were naturally patient and tolerant. Such being are divine, out of this world. It is not the word human, it is euman; meaning better men. It is same as Europe; meaning better ape. Likewise, it is not Asians; it is apeans, or simply apes.

Good question! Well, actually, humans are both if you all think about it. We all have genes, we all have cells, we all have blood, organs, and we the ability for destruction in us, only humans I believe the more deadlier of the animal world. We all kind of eat the same things. We all have some kind of emotions (believe it or not, even alligators have emotions, a mama gator really does love her eggs). Truthfully, we are closer to animals than most humans want admit to.
I like to use my cats and myself as an example. My friend had a cat, who was the mother of the cat I have currently, and boy do I remember what she went through. Female cats can have their cycles nearly twice a month depending on the month. I know scary, right?
Here's the wiki on it:
Cats
The female cat in heat has an estrus of 14–21 days and is an induced ovulator. Without copulation she may enter interestrus before reentering estrus. With copulation and in the absence of pregnancy, cycles occur about every three weeks. Cats are polyestrous but experience a seasonal anestrus in autumn and late winter.
Yeah, imagine your girlfriend/wife going through that every month? Well, guess what, some women do! That's right! Some women can have cycles twice a month. I am one of these women, and there many others out there just like me. Yeah, it is Hell for lack of a better word. There are even some women who can unleash more than one egg per month. There have been reports of women who can constantly have multiples without medications or aides. It's rare, but does occur. It rather fascinating. I believe a few weeks ago, but cannot seem to find the Yahoo Report about it. There was a woman in, I think NY or NJ, who have three sets of twins. This is not a trait the normal human women should have, and it is very rare. This is something that you would certainly see in many animals.
I hope that I am not being too graphic here, but I am just saying, we are all much more closer to animals than we think.

We are all animals.. Just like them, we have limbs, or legs and hands.. Just look around, other than animals which is a living thing, which other living thing has got limbs as well as facial features?? haha =D
IF we dun evolve from animals, then why dun we look like plants instead?? They are all living things and yet they dun have limbs, facial features.. lol =D

Whenever I heard in the news about somebody murdering another human beings I called them animals. Every time some father raped their own daughters or their relatives I called them animals. I even called the terrorist animals for destroying many innocent lives. Every time a person do something really bad based on my own standard I called them animals. Because they have no remorse and no feelings and they are all evil.
But if somebody is treating their parents right and all their relatives and friends I called them humans. The person who is kind, honest and loving I labeled them humans. In short...animals are bad people much worst than the animals itself. And humans are intelligent people who prepare to do the right things most of the time.

They are worst then animals. Animals don't killed animals. They are not in a mood to kill. IT's a human only.
Animal have sense, love...feelings..they love their babies...
anyway your definition of animal is good.
Just think about birds.. when they mate...they know..soon there will be an egg inside...and they gonna build a nest...and hatch eggs there... feed their babies.. teach them to fly..
so there is love and feelings with animals and birds...
in human still inside there is animal nature..selfishness..

Ok so you ask, are we humans or animals? both worlds are parallel, we all probably agree. While the main difference between humans and animals is rational, we sure behave like animals if we site the main venue: violence.

I think we have something over animals in a way, we can be both and thats what makes us special I think. So I'll say that at times Im a very nice human being and at other times, like when Im driving in traffic and some jerk cuts me off, ......well then I think I can borrow some animal feature and use a finger to let him know lol.

nah you are not being an animal, you are just ignoring the fact that by stooping to irrational reactions, you are also asking for a date in court. Did you know that in many states like for instance in South Carolina USA. a judge actually charged an individual with 150 hours of community service and 200 dollars fine for flipping the finger to some other driver on the road? yes that is a true fact. What is your local ordinance like?

Ohhh I think you are stirring the pot up a little too much now...I responded to your other discussion. I won't be surprised if you get some upset people here.
By the way~I am not bothered by your topics-it takes a LOT to get me fired up.
I'll say this, I'm sure not a monkey at this point...last time I checked..but maybe somewhere in my lineage there's one or two LOL
I believe in God and creation. As you were saying about the brutes of society, I agree that some people can sure act like animals...but we're supposed to be the civilized, big thinkers of all creation, aren't we? I mean look at the standards of living and laws and morals, not to mention ethics...isn't that what makes us human? That and we rely on more than just instinct and basic needs.
Very controversial thinking here my friend.
