i went to see my friend i havent seen in almost 20 yrs

it went well so i though so short though and much embarrassing cause i only had a master card and it did not go through i had my four kids with me.we were all hoping to get a bit to eat well while this happened my friend was eating her food and i was kind thinking of asking her and her husband for money to be able to eat i did not though did i do the right thing talking to my friend for a bit while they watched my friend eat.In your opinion would you of asked you friend you have not seen in 20 years for some money to eat with her?
