I never have had that done but maybe sometime in the future I will try it. I see so many women get their nails done. I have seen so many styles of fake nails. Some i like some I don't. I have seen one woman I work with who has the black tip fake nails on. I don't care for them unless it is Halloween! I loke the one tip fake nails and the white with the red under the white tips. I also know a wman at work who gots like twice a month to get her done! If I had the money i would too!

I can't bear to wear polish on my nails, much less those things. They do ruin your fingernails after a while - scary looking things they do to the nails, I will never wear them. However, they have some lovely looking things they do to them, so I can understand why people do it.

I always wondered why women do that, I guess is that trivial novelty and urge to waste money.

Hello there, thank you for the reply. Is true, so many companies do all they can to help women stay happy while complementing their beauty needs.

I used to have my nails done about every 3-4 weeks. After losing a baby late in pregnancy I just couldn't go out for a while and I got out of the habit. It was OK, I miss them some times when I have to go out nice and I do miss the little bit of me time I got from going. I also do not miss the cost of getting them done though. I would change the look I got often. Sometimes a little wild or a lot others more conservative. All mattered on the mood I was in when getting them done.

Most of the women I know who get their nails done get them done a few times a month. Most of the time they are conservative. The wildest is the women I mentioned in my discussion who got the black tip fake nails! I have seen wmen have their nails colored the colors of their favorite football team and have the logo put on a nail or two. I think that is team support and cool!

well i love long nails and i've long nails all the time and maintain it very well. i don't prefer fake nails as they are not healthy and i know i would get that "artificial" feeling! my all time favourite is french manicure which has the tips as white in colour! now these manicure kits are available in stores for cheaper price too so i can use them when ever i wanna!

My sister has had long nails since I was in High school. She used to have them super long! She has always been one to care for her nails. Her nails are shorter but still longer then I could grow them! My big thimg lately is I wish I could get a manicure. I'm losing interest in ever having my nails done at a saloon! I know alot of wmoen who have fake nails and go to the saloons a few times a month! It probaly be cheaper to go to the store for the kits but these women love going to the saloons!

I don't like fake fingers nails, either. I like the natural ones and only natural, cause at the end of the day the person that is sleeping with you will know your worth. Go natural instead.

The more and more I read about fake nails the more I realize it I rather not think about doing it ever! I'll stick with the natural look! I used to put nail polish on but working aroung food with it on itsn't a good idea! So I don't anymore!

The more I have thought about it the more I don't care to have them done! It really isn't me and if I did go to a salon I just get a manicure. No fake nails and no polish put on. I'm more of a simple person and I would not want to waste my money on fake nails!

While I like seeing some of the fake nail styling on some women, I personally couldn't stand having them on myself. I tried them once and they just about drove me nuts. I couldn't type or do my favorite hand sewing and stuff. Even though they weren't over long, they still just always seemed to get in the way. I found them more bother than they're worth. My one daughter gets them done once in a while at a salon. Geez, I would never spend that kind of cash just on my nails. I do keep them groomed, filed, polished, and all that, and that's enough for me.

My nails aren't the prettiest but I do try to keep them decent. My sister has realy nice nails and has as long as I can remember! She really takes care of them and likes to do the polish them too! All the women I work with will go to a saloon to get their nails done. Even a student or two I work with will too! I think they are crazy but they seem to have the money to do it! It isn't for me!

I had fake nails done twice, I won't do it again. I do not like what they do to your real nails. I don't have a problem growing nails, so for me it isn't that big of a deal. The thing is, with using fake nails these cover your real nails and that can cause problems. Also I have seen women with these and the money they spend just on replacements, which depending on what they do could be a daily thing or more, is a waste to me. To each their own I guess.

I have thought of doing it only for like a wedding or something like that. I doubt I would do it if I had the chance! I know one woman at work who has it done all the time. She usually gets the the white tip or french tip nails. She is a prep cook by it doesn't stop her from getting the fake nails!

I have nothing against women who love fake nails.I prefer mine short.I can't grasp and handle things properly with long nails.I just make sure my nails are clean.I have them manicured by my resident manicurist.I have them manicured at least once a month.

I wish I had the money to have my nails manicured once in awhile! My nails like to break off when they get a certain length! I try to keep them looking decent but I am not the greatest at it! Anyway I wouldn't do the fake nails. It really isn't me!

I love my false nails, and wouldn't be seen without them. They don't chip or look untidy and frayed like some peoples nails i've seen. I have it for some time, then give my nails a few weeks to rest and recuperate. Then i start to have them fixed again. They are very ladylike and the nail polish never ever peels off. i only use a single colour. I hate the 2 or 3 coloured nails. They don't look so nice. Plus i dont like them ridiculously long, as its bad enough trying to put on earings with long nails.

I never have tried fake nails. I did think of doing it for a wedding once but never did. I probaly wouldn't if I could! I like fake nails on some women. As long as they are not weird colors and ladylike. I have seen some women with super long fake nails and that is to much!
