I love and prefer cellphones because it's more convenient and i could continue business anywhere i am, i hate land lines because of lack of privacy and comfortability.

I am a very old school person. Therefore, I am sticking with the land line phone. Actually, I think I really came in at the tail end of the generation where landlines were commonly used and cell phones were not as popular. I was most certainly on the borderline. Therefore, most people I grew up with that I knew had landline phones. That is just what I was used to.
I really did not notice cell phones all that much until I was in about in high school. I am sure they were popular, it was just under my radar. Of course, the point is moot as I absolutely do not really like talking on the phone to begin with. Have no idea really why, it is just the way that I always was. However, I prefer landline phones even though cell phones are nice to have if you get stranded in the middle of nowhere.

I love them both equally, and both for different reasons. I love my landline because without it I couldn't get any internet. Also, with the land line I can call all my neighbors and friends without any cell phone charges. I still use my land line a lot and use it every day. I love my cell phone because all my kids have the the Verizon friends and family plan, so even though they live far away, I can still talk with the all the time. I get to call all my long distance friends on weekends, and after 9, for free, and talk as long as we want to. I also love my cell because it has GPS on it, and it sure is handy while travelling. I value both of them, and it all works out great for me to have both types of services available.

Hi there, I hate to run for the landline phone in case it rings while I'm busy with my work. Though I have landline phone at home I always ask people to call me on my cellphone. My communication device is always along with me even I do gardening outside the house. Yeah, this is for the convenience to answer the call immediately in case anyone call me.
Moreover it's a risk as well for me to dash for the call inside the house. I'm no longer young and I'm afraid that I might fall down when in a hurry It's always handy to have a cellphone with us so that we can keep in touch with our loved ones and friends at any time
Happy posting

Both are useful to me. talking from land line to land line is more economical in the place where i stay.Similarly speaking from one cell to another is more cost effective. But i prefer a cell to a land line as one can send sms and have other useful features. We can contact the other person immediately if he has a cell irrespective of the fact that he is away from a land line.

I'd rather use my cellphone because I can carry it around with me. Even though the it's a little bit more expensive when you call from your cellphone, you can connect with more people with it. Plus, cellphones are smaller than landline phones so you can carry it everwhere

Cellphones of course. I think it is more convenient to have cellphones since it is portable and we can contact the person wherever he is. Having a landline would just be another unnecessary cost for my family.
