I am now into my thirties and I am now seeing the signs of the aging process on me the usual aches and pains of everyday life.
I don't have the gray hairs popping up on my head yet, but I'm sure that day is not that far away.
The place I notice it the most is on my face I will typically have a mustache and a goatee on my face and now my beard will start sprouting gray hairs and one I had this morning was bright white ugh.
when did you first start to notice it was it gradual or a lot all at once?

i believe everybody gets older... lol... only sometimes some people are quick to notice it and others are in denial. hehe
i had my first boyfriend at 15, back when i only have 1 niece whom i was babysitting at the time when i was in highschool. almost 2 months ago, she turned 18. a young adult now. and i have 13 nephews and nieces to date. lol. and i guess time must have flown rather quickly that i didn't notice for a long time. before, it was only the older relatives asking me when i was getting married... now even the younger generation, the kids, are asking me when can they have a new uncle... lol
i don't have one gray or white strand of hair yet, although of course my laugh lines are more prominent now. hehe but i guess i noticed that i really am getting older when i saw how big my nephews and nieces have grown... much taller and heavier than i am now... lol. it has been gradual over the years but it suddenly hit the moment my eldest niece turned 18. boy it was like... where did my 18 years go and why so quickly? lol

well as close as I can relate to that is my next door neighbor at my parents house their youngest the daughter they had just 2 kids like we had it was my sister and me and their son and his sister anyway their daughter just had a baby and she is barely over 21 and in college so that makes me feel pretty old when someone I watched grow up next door has had a baby.
It all catches up to us so fast and with our busy lives we never seem to notice how quickly it goes by.

It was gradual for me. When I hit the big 30 I started getting a few gray hairs. Now im 35 and still getting a few more lol. I am starting to see a start of crows feet by my eyes. It's all gradual and shows how wiser we are than when we were young.

i think 3 years ago, i noticed wrinkles forming around my eye area. i just realize that i'm getting older, my physical attributes are getting older. but i never realize it until 3 years ago when i looked at myself carefully in front of a mirror because i'm basically kid at heart. :)

It is important not how old you are, but how old you feel. :)

well that may have been more for a lack of sleep then for anything else as watching after a sick child could lead to lack of sleep and some stress as well.
I think we all see the bags under our eyes when we don't get our necessary rest as we all need that when we get older.

I am only 22 years old but I already feel as if I'm closer to mid-thirties. I guess I have not treated my body kindly over the years. I have terrible posture which puts strain throughout my body. As I walk I feel aches in my lower back, neck, and my right knee. I hope to get a physical soon and to try my best to fix myself. I'm too young to be having aches and pains. =(

I also have those everyday aches and pains and some of it may be caused from too much sitting in front of the computer if that is possible.
I get stiff in my back if I sit for too long at a time and yesterday I hurt my knee from kneeling on it for too long of a time so it happens to everyone, but never a bad idea to get looked at just to be on the safe side.

My female friend gets mad and tells me to stop complaining. Well, I would not complain if it did not hurt. Maybe exercising and doing stretching activities will help our bodies become more limber. Let's try and maintain whatever we have left.

I noticed my first gray hairs when I was in high school. I think I was 15 or 16 when it happened. At first it was only a couple. Now I've got an obvious streak of gray above my left temple.
Aging doesn't bother me. I've accepted that I'm going to age, and instead of fighting the clock and trying to prove how young I am I've decided to embrace it and age gracefully. I feel bad for all those people who feel they have to have plastic surgery to stay attractive. It's not true, but there's folks who are willing to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on their idea of beauty.

that is pretty young to start having gray hairs I don't think I had any until my late 20's.
I would never get any plastic surgery either that would just be too expensive and you see so many that do it and it ruins their face and that would be enough to scare me away from ever thinking about it.

It seems to run in my family. My aunt was totally gray before she was 30. Thankfully the women in my family all have silver-gray hair, not salt-and-pepper gray! It's a great color, and so far it looks like I'll be lucky, too.
I saw a slideshow somewhere last night of celebrities who've had cosmetic surgery. Some of the images were downright scary!

Hey, you are still too young. Would you believe I am 49 and I only noticed that I am getting older lately because of white hair sprouting on my head and pains at my back when I wake up in the morning? But when I was in my early forties, I was still very busy with a lot of things. I love moving around and I felt nothing painful during those days. Oh, I'm 50 next year and perhaps I'll really feel the effect of age on me. But right now, I feel young and strong - he he. lol Just enjoy life and that's it!!!

I first noticed when I stopped getting asked for ID and people started going over board with the flattery "Why honey you don't look a day over 19!" lmao. Is it just me or does anyone else find that offensive? Also I have this kind of faint line showing on near my mouth and nose. I used to have on both but I'm doing a facial excercise program and the other one disappeared already. This one is getting lighter. I think physical aging is a choice. If one wants to 'age gracefully" into wrinkles and sag thats on them. I've chosen not to follow those rules.

I remember the first time we went to a casino with my parents and both me and my sister got carded and both of us were a few years past being 21 so I guess that was kind of nice that someone thought we both looked younger then we were, but my sister took it as more of an annoyance and didn't laugh it off as easily as I did.
All of us deal with it differently and I like your attitude about it.
thanks for the comments.

The physical parts have been what has gotten to me lately the everyday aches and pains my back has been stiffening up on me and yesterday I kneeled too long on my knee and it was really stiff and sore, which never happened before so that makes me feel older then I am.

I first noticed it when I am already forgetable and
cannot remember all those memories I have passed.
Sad to say that I am one of those cannot remember
what is the alma matter song sang when I was in
Elementary years as I am starting in thirties.
I'm worried as I grow older might be it is getting
worst. I don't know if I could change this fogetfulness
or can it be rehabilitated or not? What can you also
share about this my friend?
It is true that signs of different changes happenned
also in me oh but still in my own I will not think
of getting old , reverse way of thinking.

not having any trouble remembering things the only time I have any problems is when I have been up since early in the morning and am really tired so my advice would be to make sure you get as much rest as you can as when you get your proper rest all of us think more clearly.

well so far no feet problems that I can remember, but enough other problems to make up for there not being any problems with my feet and the feet would be I really awful place to have problems that and with our knees as we are on them anytime we walk anywhere.
I am 33 and I feel I am not old enough to be having all of these problems either, but I still seem to be having them anyway.

it was when i hurt my back in 96, after getting healed up from that then i started to have other medical issues, arthis and other things. i found i was moving as fast as i used too, went from benching 550 to pretty much nothing at all. i have trouble walking now too
then when i go to the doctors and tell me if i was a horse they would shot me. and they asked me how old i am when i tell them im 43 they shake thier heads and say what in the hell did you do to your body ? i am told i have a body of 80 yr old man..
yeah..

yeah I am sorry to hear about your back problems I don't think I have gotten too bad with mine yet it just gets a little stiff every now and then, but nothing that I can't deal with.
I guess if we abuse ourselves too much it all catches up to us at some point and I know that I am not as active as I used to be, but we do what we can and that is about all we can some days.

Well my hairs already turns gray since high school (probably because of a bad hair gel), and now my knee starting to make sounds when i walking on a stairways (i never like drinking milk since i was little, may be i didn't get enough calcium back then and it's starting to make effect now)

I used to love to drink milk, especially the white milk, which is weird cause I drink a lot less now then when I was younger, but mostly when I have milk it is when it is needed in something that I am making as now I don't even have cereal as much as I used to.

I know that some people say that gray hairs give your face character and I don't mind having a few its just when I have a bunch of them that it gets annoying to me, but I should be glad with the stressfulness of life that I don't have more on my head then my face.

I am 25 years old,not get gray hairs, and have a little laugh lines around my eyes, but i still found i am getting older.cause many friends and classmates around me get marriend and even have babies, and when their babies or some children who i run into at the street call me auntie instead of sister,i know i am not young anymore!may because children wouldn't lie!LOL!
everyone would get older,no one can avoid this natrue process, maybe we just keep always being young at heart, that's enough!

yes it is just a part of life that is unavoidable and not much that we can do to fight it, but as you said you can try to stay young at heart and that is a nice thing to try to do.
It is something when people we went to school with have kids and now my neighbor's kids has a kid really makes me feel older.

well for me it was the every day aches and pains if I am on my knees too long of sitting too long my back can stiffen up on me if I don't stay stretched out.
My goatee on my face starts to get the gray hairs now too, which I don't care too much for, but there is not too much I can do about it unless I want to buy something to cover it up and that is just silly to me.
