Have you ever met a person who doesn't have a dream? If you'd ask me, I never met one. Because a lot of people have their own dreams and they'll do everything just to achieve their goals in life. But when they already achieved it, still they are not contented. You know why? There is no person in this world who have contentment. That the real thing in the real world is that a man is never contented. Even if he or she have everything in this world, still they search for happiness.

honestly I haven't met a person who doesn't have a dream for his/her self.people should have dreams for themselves.being contented is being happy with what you currently have.being contented is getting the feeling of satisfaction of what you currently have.it doesn't mean that being contented meant you shouldn't strive harder.it means that whatever you achieve now,you are happy and you appreciate it in the present.

I disagree, I think there are people out there who are content. Usually these are people who have looked at life sideways and thought "what a load of nonesense"!
I'm pretty content as it is and my main dream is just to pay off the debts and live a modest but happy life.
I think the problem with goals and dreams is that they are often not thought up by the individual but planted in their minds by others. When you ask them what they want they say "I want to be successful" but without really thinking what that means.
The comedian David Chapelle said that success to him was to be able to do comedy and earn the equivalent of a teacher's salary because he could live comfortably on that just doing what he loved. Because he had that attitude he was successful very early and the fact that he went on to earn millions was just a bonus.
That is the trick, learn to aim for what will be ENOUGH rather than chasing unachievable dreams and stressing yourself out.

Yup, i agree, we as humans would never be contended no matter what... there seems to be something that we keep on looking even if we have reached our goals, our ambitions, our dreams... i remember what my Theology prof explained on "contentment" and the heart... "As you can see the heart has a missing piece as you would analyze how a heart is drawn, and without that, you would never be content in your life. You could have that missing piece once you surrender yourself to God Almighty..."

Being not contented for me is something which drives one to be a better person. It gives one goals to make his life more meaningful.
