Even if you take good care of the battery, it's usually natural for a battery to die out after around 1,000 - 1,500 charging cycles, on average. Depending on what type of battery it is, it might last little longer or little shorter. If you charge your phone every night, it comes out to about 2 1/2 - 3 years & that's if you take care of your battery. Depends on how long you've had the same phone without buying a new battery for it, it just might be time to change out your battery or phone. If it has been a lot shorter than that, then it might be defective battery.

When I first got my phone, the battery didn't seem to be all that good, but now that I have it for over a month, the battery seems to last longer now than it used ot. I only charge it up with needed, when I get the low battery warning, and I don't leave it on the charger all night as it will beep when it is charged, and so I just reach over on my nightstand and unplug the charger from the phone. I wouldn't suggest leaving it on the charger after it is charged, as that will just diminish the capacity of the battery. I only have to charge mine up every few days, and that is leaving it on all day, and turning it off before I go to bed. It seems to to do pretty well each day, and for a windows mobile phone, I am pleased about it, as I thought the battery would drain quicker, but it seems to be better than what I thought it would be. It is like the other users said, that your battery might be faulty, and needs replacing. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Battery life getting down can be due to Two reasons:
Firstly, excessive charging even if it is fully charged. We often leave the mobile charging at night and pull the charger out in the morning.
Secondly, Use new battery after one or two years. Batteries are that expensive. Can't you afford one every 1 or 2 years?
