Feingold diet

My husband and I have ten children. Our last three were adopted from the foster care system, and two of them were drug exposed in the womb. In addition to that, because they were fosters before their adoptions were final, they had to have all the vaccinations according to the state who was in charge of them, and they had the MMR along with those. The youngest, who is now two and a half, is having emotional problems, and a couple of people, including my doctor, has suggested autism. We will be taking him to the Child Study Center, but it may take three to six months before we can get an appointment. In the meantime, I don't want to just not do anything. So I bought the materials to do the Feingold diet. I haven't received them yet, but since I joined, I was able to go into the website, and they have us started on it. I wondered if any of the rest of you have tried this for your children, and how did it work for you. Since we have started, the biological sister of this boy who we also adopted, and is six years old, quit wetting the bed for the first time in her life!! She and I are very excited about that!

I donçt know anything about this diet and Içm sure you can get a lot of help from the internet if it takes so long to get a doctor`s appointment. But I just wanted to say hello and to congratulate you for your capacity of love and caring.

Our friend seems to have the same doctors you have, Jo! I don`t understand why it takes so long to see a child. The county, the state, or whatever is responsible for the children should see that they see a doctor on time.

I didn't make myself quite clear, we saw the doctor, and he recommended we take him to the Child Study Center to be evaluated. It may take up to six months to get in there. And thanks, marguicha, for the compliment. All I did was adopt a little guy I loved! I'm the one who is blessed by all my children!

I don't know anything about the diet but just wanted to say how much i admire u for what u have done for the children. Tell the little girl i'm proud of her to. Children are so special & i hate hearing of them suffering so much abuse all the time. They are all lucky to have u for their mom. Happy weekend to u.
