I've been here in the computer 16 hours everyday doing facebook, chatting, clicking, gaming, online music, video feeding and reading emails. Wow I can't believe I just did that. Is it an addiction to use my computer everyday? There is nothing to do at home but these things. My butt is sore now because I haven't stand up from this chair except in lunch. I'm troubled that this could make my body unhealthy always facing the computer everyday. No exercise means getting fat! Lol

16 hours?
I thought I was bad enough but you just beat me
I am online from breakfast until I go to sleep but I am not at the compuer for the whole time. This morning I went out to do the shopping, showered and cooked in between posting and soon I shall leave for work. I shall be on and off from there too.
We must excercise while online too. Maybe they will invent something one day that will help us lose weight while using our computer. The only thing that gets any exercise right now is our fingers

My fingers are well toned too and it's sad that they look better than the rest of me does most of the time. We should start a club?
Nykel if the only reason that you leave your computer is to go and eat, that is defeating the object don't you think?

Wow nykel88 you have lots of free time huh! I guess it is because there is no work today! Actually sitting down for so long really cause pain in our butt shoulders and back... Well don't worry much of facing computer everyday because many are also doing that... Just be sure to eat your lunch on time. Happy mylotting!

Tear yourself away and go for a walk around the block, call a friend and ask them out for a drink or a snack, call your parents and tell them you love them--connect with REAL people again!! You have to get away from the computer and start to live. Right now you are merely existing, throwing your life away and you'll never get that time back. Think what you could do with that time-you could take a class, learn a new skill, look for a good job, meet the love of your life, enjoy the sunshine on your face.
Go out and LIVE!

Hi nykel,
Wow, 16 hours? That's serious, boy.
I assume the remaining 8 hours are devoted to sleep, right?
Well.. I think that's an addiction already. And I do agree with you, it's unhealthy. Not only you don't get enough exercise, but it could also affect your eyes, experience headaches, insomnia, leg cramps, back pain and I could think of a lot more unhealthy reasons.
Why not take a break every hour or two? Take a brisk walk, get some sunshine and vitamin D, always have a glass of water beside you so that you won't get dehydrated, close your eyes once in a while and don't rub them.
I know how addicting being online everyday, but please don't risk your health.
Okay?

16 hours in front of the computer is no joke..you are leading a sedentary lifestyle! I set my computer on for the whole day but would be doing something else and only when I find little space in between my works then I go to mylot for a few minutes to respond to some discussion. Surfing the net endlessly only add up more fat to my already 'L' size.

hi nykel88 yes you have an addiction like the rest of us to the net. I love it too and often spend about that my hours'
reading email, mylotting and listening to my classical music
with the new headphones I got for christmas last. My butt has
spread from sitting here so long. we do need some exercise. lol.

hi nykel oh no not really, my doctor keeps telling me to stop and elevate my legs as they swell from sitting here too long, your doctor will probably tell you to get some exercise too, maybe we should just keep it secret.lol lol lol.oh yes one of my doctors says to stretch your toes back towards your ankles occasionally too, and to do some foot push ups also.

I think you are way overdoing it, but it is a powerful addiction. Get off your butt and go for a walk. That will be much better for your health.

I also spend a lot of time on the computer but 16 HOURS is just way out of my league! I would spend a maximum of 4 hours on the computer each day and a minimum of 10 minutes! Don't you have like homework from uni or a job? lol

Lol..how do you expect him to have a homework from university or college/job??16 hours at the desk matehis everything is his computer..my only suggestion for you is that you have to go for exercises by any means and cut down that 16 hours to 14 and 12 and 10 and so no.:P

No exercise means getting fat is not sure to be true but will depends on your heredity and what you eat, because too much computer will lose your appetite of eating even if it is your favorite food or snacks.

That would mean that you're not a busy man... haha facing the computer for 16 hours a day is way too impossible for me... But yeah, I know some really does, but for me I can make 10 hours and thats my limit.

At work, I'm in front of the computer for 8 hours and when I get home, I spend about 2-6 hours more. That's a lot of hours! But then, there is not much I can do at home. Online, you can chat, surf, play games and even earn money. As for meals, you can even eat in front of your pc. As for exercise...I can just read about it. Lol

Wow that is a long time. I hope that includes breaks. It really is not healthy for you to be on the computer for that long and that can't be good for your eyes. However I do understand how a person can get addicted to certain things they enjoy online. There are so many interesting things to do and think about, even when I am doing research sometimes I can get out of control. But I do try to keep a balance. I think that it is important to do that.

Yeah it overall includes breaks Mars. Like I said It includes lunch time and also physiologic needs but for the rest of the remaining time its just butt sore and computer gaming, mailing, chatting and etc.. Yes there are lots of online stuff now to do. I mean like even facebook made their own farms online in farmville, not that I play that game but think about it.. people tend to get addicted to that game.

I am online for long hours every day but I do get up and move around every once in awhile. There are times I'll sit in the chair until my butt is sore but I also think that's partially the way I sit. I like to sit wih my legs propped up and I think this might put a little more pressure on my buttocks.
Now if only the earnings would reflect the hours I spend online, but that is my own doing as I could be doing better to earn, especially here.

HEHEHEH! NYKEL88 You mean you will not get sleep.
I think you cannot do it habitually its not good for your health.
There would be time that you could do that if that day would be
enjoying to you that's why you don't like to stop it.
I guess in the next day you will be sleepy out of the night
that you are overfatigue.I am one of those took longer in computer
but not too much as 16 hours you did.
Very sure that this is unhealthy to you you should aslo sleep coz
its part of our daily living good rest and good health.

I do spend a lot of time in front of the computer. However, I don't think that I am ever able to spend that many hours straight in front of the computer. I feel like I am pulling marathon sessions in front of the computer when I am on it for only about two to three hours. Today I've probably spent a grand total of about four hours on the computer and even that time hasn't been straight on the computer, I've been doing other things as well.
