Is Anyone Watching Dancing with the Stars, Besides Me?

It's really difficult watching Dancing with the Stars when there's conflicts with other programs I watch. But fortunately, I can record Dancing with the Stars and watch it at a later time. So far, I've kept up with it, except I don't know who got knocked off this week. I wasn't surprised to see Pamela Anderson in the bottom two last week. Her antics are driving me crazy. But I think (if it didn't already happen), Buz will probably go soon. Do you watch Dancing with the Stars? Who do you think is going to take it this year?

I have been watching it. I noticed tha Buzz Aldrin was the second to be eliminated. He and Kate Gosselin were the worst. How Kate is still there, I don't know. Shannon Doherty certainly didn't deserve to be the first to go. I read that the producers of DWTS are really hoping she makes it longer because they think the ratings spike is because of her. Whether they want to see her faily or succeed, she is being credited with part of the ratings surge. Personally, I watch this season because of the now eliminated Shannon, Evan the Olympic winner, sweet Buzz, Chad "Ochocinco", and Erin Andrews. Erin Andrews has been through so much that I REALLY hope she wins.

Oh, I think Nicole the Pussycat Doll singer is going to win. She's certainly the judges favorite.

Hi, AmbiePam, I think Nicole is the best dancer, so far, but Erin is right there. I wouldn't bet Erin or Evan out of the contest. I think the finals will be those three. Thanks for your thoughts. Have a good day. (I'm kind of hoping Erin wins too.)

Yes, I watch it too, but hardly ever see discussions started. We will have to be sure to start one each week. I thought Buzz should have went home last week, or Kate, not Shannen. So now Buzz is gone, and Kate survives another week. It should be interesting.

I added you as a friend, so if you start it each week, I can comment on it.

Somewhere I saw a discussion topic/interest entitled DWTS. I haven't seen it since, so I just put this under TV or something like that. I did see another DWTS discussion but it was listed under some strange discussion topic/interest, so no one saw it. But I agree we need to keep up with DWTS, like we (at least I) do with American Idol. Thanks for your thoughts.

I like this show and am watching it this season. I watchthe first night, but don't watch the second night due to conflicts with other shows, so I never know who got kicked off until I see it mentioned online or on tv news. I was kind of surprised Shannen Doherty got kicked of first. There were multiple people who were worse than her. I don't know who I think will win this year. So much of the time the actual dancing ability doesn't necessarily dictate who will win or who gets voted off, so it's hard to predict. I don't think I really have a favorite this season, which is unusual. Most seasons, I have a favorite picked out already.

I agree with you on Kate. I really hope she is the next to go home. Her dancing ability isn't great, nor has she really improved. And I think she just has a bad attitude for the kind of work it takes. I couldn't believe when Tony said he was quitting...that's pretty bad to tick him off that much. He seems like a nice guy who can tolerate a lot and seems like he's a patient person. For her to get him that worked up is crazy.

I fixed my "conflicts with DWTS by deleting the NCIS recording. I like to see who's getting booted. Shannon was a surprise; Buzz wasn't. I have Nicole picked to win, but I want Erin to win. But you're right, dancing ability doesn't necessarily mean you're going to win... This next week, I'm picking Kate to go, not only because she can't dance, but her personality turns a bunch of people, including me, off. She'll get knocked off just because of personality. Thanks for your comments.

I see Tony the same way. Kate just pushed every button he had, and he lost it. I would have lost it with her a whole lot sooner...

I tried to watch it once, and couldn't get into it. Did see where Pam was causing some drama on the show, lol.

I think you have to watch it a few times before you start getting to know the personalities and begin to cheer for your favorites and boo the villains. Pam and Kate have been the divas on the show so far. My favorites are Erin, Nicole, and Evan. I thought Pam and Kate were goners early on, but they're slowly winning people over. Thanks for your comments, Fortunata.

I've watched parts of a couple episodes this season. I really like Evan Lysechek (sp?) and that Pussycat Dolls girl. I'm not really a fan of Pamela Andersson either; I don't know if it's just me, but she's starting to get older and that "sexy" thing is just looking bad. I wasn't too surprised to see Buzz go. I found his dancing a little painful to watch. Kate's not so great either, but I find myself wanting her to get better.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Had work to do... I watched last night, and wasn't surprised to see Aiden (?) go. I've been down on Kate, but this week, I kind of found myself pulling for her. I like Evan, Nicole (Pussycat Dolls) and Erin (ESPN reporter). We'll see what happens next week... Thanks for commenting...

I've been following DWTS. This is the 2nd season. Last season the only reason why I even during it on was bc I used to love Ashley Hamilton then he was the 1st to leave :( I wasn't surprised though! LOL! After that I figured I'd keep watching to figure out why people love this show anyway and I was hooked! At the end I hated that Mya didn't win. I thought she was the best. This season I wasn't even going to watch b/c I was so upset that Mya didn't win last year BUT I seen Jake from the Bachelor was going to be on there so I had to watch and see what happened with him. I really don't like him but since he's the "newest star" that I know about I figured I give it a shot. This season is okay, not like last season. I'll keep watching just to see who winds but not that intersted. Also Buzz I though was really cute and I thought he did very well for a man at his age. Oh I watch my DWTS online for free. I don't even have cable I watch everything online. B/c like you said there are shows that conflict with different shows you want to watch so either you miss em or you get a DVR which now that I watch my episodes online I think is a waste of money. I'm watching all of the major shows out there and don't really miss cable usually I'd be flipping through channels to find what to watch. You can also connect your computer (I have a laptop) to your big screen TV. This is what I do sometimes as well. Just an FYI :)

I thought Mya was good too. But I was pulling for Donnie, so I was happy with the results. This season, I hardly recognized anybody. But now that the season's getting going, I'm starting to pull for my favorites. My favorites right now are the singer, the ESPN reporter and the skater (don't remember everyone's names). I'll be glad to see some go, to include Kate and Pamela. I haven't tried to watch any shows on my computer, because I have wireless and any time the wind blows, I usually get knocked off the air, back on again, back off again. I'd go nuts trying to watch a show that way. And I don't know how to connect my laptop to the big screen... I'll need someone smarter than me to do that. Glad you can save a few bucks. Thanks for your comments.

I have a new TV... I'll try setting it up just to see how it works. Right now the laptop sits on the floor next to my desk top...I rarely use it. But I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

That sucks. My laptop is wireless so I don't have that problem but the simplist way to connect your laptop to the TV, if you have a newer TV anyways, is by the large cable with the screws on each side of the cable and you're good to go. You just have to ochange the mode on your TV, like you would when you watch a DVD or something and the picture should be there. You just have to control everything from your laptop.

I use to watch a lot of the comedy shows/channel, but I got restless and started watching more reality TV. My favorites are reality TV and drama, like CSI, Cold Case, Medium... Maybe some day I'll go back to comedy. Have a good laugh...and a good day.

I didn't even know who Kate was...I've never seen her show. And after watching her on DWTS, I doubt I ever will watch her show. Pam's acting like a bimbo, and it's really a turn-off for me. She doesn't dance that bad, but it's her actions while being judged and during the interview...gees. Thanks for your thoughts.

You have the same problem that I have. I usually catch the first night but the second night conflicts with other things that I watch so I find myself switching between the two (or three) things that are on at the same time.

Well, I solved my problem tonight by cancelling my recording of NCIS. I'll just have to catch the re-runs later in the year. I couldn't not know who was being booted on DWTS :}

I'm a fan. Buzz did go. I think it is silly having an 80 year old compete with kids. Wonder what old fool they going to find next season. Still too early to tell the winner.

I was hoping Buzz would last another week and Kate would go (that must make Shannon feel awful). I've picked the ESPN reporter, the skater or the singer (still don't know all the names) as the winner this season. The singer (dancer) has a "big" lead right now. Maybe they should have a competition for Seniors like they have for the kids. Thanks, Teamrose, for your thoughts.
